Carthay Circle Menus Here

Interesting that people find $22 for a cheeseburger ludicrous but think it's perfectly suitable for the Cobb salad to be that much. Honestly, I figure like Napa Rose, this will be high-end food so both are probably worth it. You can't just compare two cheeseburgers by their ingredients and assume the taste is the same. Trust me, if that's how things worked I would be making my own food every night rather than paying the prices I do to eat out weekly (prices which are definitely comparable to the ones posted on this thread). I would say "maybe the food will not be worth, who can say" but then we can just look at the blog about the preview dinner to see that the food seems to be quite delicious.

You can get out of there for much cheaper than the WOC dinner at WCT! Even ordering appetizer + entree, there are several combinations priced less than the $40 that WCT charges. I would not go to a place with an awesome menu like that and order a cheeseburger, but I still don't think that $22 is that much for a burger made with high quality ingredients in an upscale restaurant.
I can't wait to eat here in August!

Bummer that they don't have any veggie entrees aside from salad, but we'll probably still go. It looks stunning and unique, and the price doesn't matter much to us. Can't wait!

(Maybe if we make a reservation I'll ask if they can make me something special! I've never done it, but heard raves from others who have and gotten an amazing vegetarian meal out of it.)

I hope that something comes out about veggie options. My family are big foodies and would love to do this, but I hate always being stunk with sides and appetizers.

Well to be honest, I skipped right over the salads....LOL I didn't intend to eat a salad so I didn't even look. lol :)
That said, I'm still not planning to pay $22 for a burger (or a salad) when there are so many other things on that menu that look so much better. I told DD that I didn't know what she would eat and she said she'd look when we were there and see what she could find. She said "Mom, I love burgers, but $22?" I told her if that's all she found she should get it. lol

Has anyone seen the kids menu yet? My kids are pretty picky so I want to know what the options are before I make a reservation for our trip next month. :)

ive heard sloppy joes as a kid meal choice. from what i see the 22 buck burger and the 26 bacon wrapped shrimp may be what we get. (i wonder if the fries would be enough to share or if i could get fries in stead the basil salsa and the zukinie(sp)

I heard sloppy joes also. I also heard that there will be a DIFFERENT kids menu for the downstairs lounge.

Disney Dining has the menu. When you call, just ask them to read you the kids menu. That's what I did to make sure DS had something he would eat. (you can always cancel anyway, which is what we may very well do)

Awesome! Thanks for the tip. I'll call them tomorrow! :thumbsup2

Sorry I thought I posted what I heard- I forget the list completely but I know they have pasta with choice of sauce (cheese, marinara, butter), chicken, sloppy joes and I forget what else. After I heard pasta (which was the first thing she said I wasn't as clearly listening. They had kids desserts too. Did not ask about kid appetizers-because realistically we'd do the dessert.

Oh- and I asked about the WOC seating and she confirmed standing, central front location in front of the preferred tickets and that you get wet.

i got even more excited about going to DCA next week after reading the menu. although it is looking like we wont make a stop here.

Kids menu. Prices are $8-$13 (but aren't on the menu for some reason).
Pasta is 8, steak or fish are 13.
