Apparently this was announced at the 1st quarter call. I didn't hear it myself, but read it at the link below:

While I am in the minority in actually liking "Cars", I am annoyed at Pixar for having 2010 be a "Toy Story" sequel, and 2011 be a "Cars" sequel. I want original content from Pixar, the best studio in the business. If, as the article speculates, this leads to "The Bear and the Bow" getting pushed back, is a major negative in my eyes.
I also wonder if it is more due to delays in DCA "Cars-land"...I was always assuming they were going to open both the movie and the park at a very similar time-frame.

UPDATE: Apparently the original change of date was mis-heard. It was "summer 2011" NOT "december 2011". So, it is staying put June 24, 2011. Sorry for the bad info!
