What is the best way to find out if the ride is running before booking a trip????

Hi and welcome to the DIS!

I don't think you can be 100% certain that COP will be open at any particular time., I think your best chances are if you go during peak season (i.e. any time schools are out).

DH and I love COP.....I didn't see it on the refurbish list for May or September, so I am hoping it will be open!!!

COP was open and running last week while we were there! We were happy as it is one of our favorite attractions!
