....and they're off! Back the the "christians" again! Hey, duh, I'm presbyterian and consider myself to be a christian even though I'm not "born again". Nah nah neener neener. My husband and I will be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary next April and I don't wear a ring, I don't feel the need to tell the world that I'm in a committed relationship, it's no one's business but ours, nope, not even god's.

Poor OP, just asked a simple little question. :rotfl:

(As soon as I see or hear someone mention "family values" I feel the little hairs on the back of my neck go up.)

Not all Christians are "born again"... Around here to be a Christian means you're not Catholic and believe in God and Jesus regardless of the denomination (Pres, Baptist, Methodist, etc) ... so being Presbyterian means your are a Christian.

"Father" is wearing a ring. "Mother" may or may not be. I think she is, but it's hard to find a good picture of her hand. "Grandmother" is wearing a ring. "Grandfather" may or may not be.

Since this thread has turned into a religious discussion, which is against DISboards guidelines, this thread is now closed.
