Carousal Horses

My mom does- she absolutely loves them. She recently redecorated her bedroom and did it in pastel pinks and blues and then she has carousel horses everywhere. It's so cute :)

I don't but I had a boss that did. They were so beautiful. What a great thing to collect. You should post pictures of your faves.

I collect carousel horses too. Especially carousel music boxes. I'm looking for one of the medium size horses to put in our front windows, but can't find the right one (or for the right price). I have slowed down since my son was born, but still love music boxes especially.

I don't collect them but love them and have a few. My favorite is a music box that is set up like an actual carousel, not just one horse. How do I post a pic of it?

oooh! ooh! I have 20-25 of them! I have them in a display case and on several shelves. I even made one at a class several years ago - it's still not finished. My collection even helped me choose my DIS name!

collecting carousal horses is kind of spooky, in a clown type of way

Nope But that sounds like with all the colors on the horse that would be a very pretty thing to collect

Me!

I have a collection of Carousel Horses! My favorites are the P.J.s horses. :)

I'm very picky though. It has to be a very realistic looking replica - not a froo froo pastelly thing with a bunch of junk glued to it.

I love the warrior horses :)

I've also painted a few pictures of carousel horses - it's one of my favorite subjects. Of course like all my artwork, I don't hang any of it up

DW loves them and we have two actual full size antique carousel horses in the living room.:D

I was thinking about taking pixs and placing them on this board

Why don't you tell us where you purchased these horses in case the rest of us would like to collect some.

I'm not a collector. Just more crap to dust.

I don't collect carousels, but I do collect lighthouses. :)

Not horses, but unicorns. I used to collect ceramic unicorns.

my ex husband kept them in the divorce. not that he even likes unicorns, but ....well, at least he gave them to my daughters.

Ooohhh, lucky you..! I have always wanted a real antique wooden carousel horse. But they are soooo expensive, and very hard to find, aren't they? Where did you find them??
