We had something similar here, except it was Pelicans. New Orleans had fish-and there are still a few to be seen in the French Quarter.

The Cows were a big hit in Texas, and you can collect miniature versions of all of them....I've seen them in gift stores in Houston and Galveston.

I do I do!!!! Megan's room is done in carousel horses and her tile shower had tiles with carousel horses as well. At Christmas we have a carousel tree in her room as well. You would be surprised at all the things you can find with the horses on them. I recently won a carousel sweater on ebay. I have glasses, cookie cutters, wind chimes, all kinds of pictures, canisters, tea pots etc. Go to the carousel museum close to Buffalo NY. It was a really neat place.
