Caribe Royale anyone stay recently?

I just got Caribe Royale on hotwire for $105.00 per night. I did my research and used betterbidding.com and I was pretty sure that is was Caribe Royale before I booked. I'm looking forward to staying there since they are all suites.
Anyone stay recently who can tell me what they thought about it? I know they are in the process of renovating all the rooms. Hopefully we'll be lucky enough to get a renovated room.

Nver stayed there but have eaten at the Venetian Room and it was excellent.

Hey Jenn - we have friends who stayed there quite awhile ago, and I know they liked it. Hope someone comes along with recent info for you. We are leaving Orlando today - we were at SSR for 4 nts, and Bonnet Creek for the last 3. This place is gorgeous! Got upgraded to a 2 bedroom, the boys were in their glory - didn't have to share a sofabed! Missed seeing you guys at the family party last July - hope all is well, and have a great trip!

Hope you had a great trip!!
We are staying 7 nights at Caribbean Beach Resort (couldn't pass the stay 4 get 3 free). Then we'll check into Caribe Royale for our last 3 nights.
I would love to stay at Bonnet Creek sometime! It looks awesome! I even checked into it for our last 3 nights but couldn't find anything reasonable.
We leave in less than 6 weeks!!

Hi Jenn - We stayed there a couple of years ago. My kids loved the pool area....as did I. It had a very tropical feel which I like. The commute to Disney is great also since it's right outside the gate.

The suites are a nice size, but the one we had definitely needed to be refurbished...which I think they have been you said. But the place was very clean and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Sounds like you got a good deal. Have an awesome trip! We'll be there the same time. We fly out on the 10th to the 21st. Staying at Bonnet Creek again.

Thanks for the info Heather. We are staying at CBR for the first 7 nights before we check into Caribe royale for our last 3. Looking forward to our annual winter getaway! I'm really sick of the ice and snow already!! Have a great trip! I'd love to stay at Bonnet Creek someday too!
