Caribbean Beach Resort Honeymoon

Hi there
We will be staying at the CBR for 3 weeks in May and were wondering if Disney offered free upgrades
for guests who are celebrating a special occasion
Any tip would be most helpful

Don't know at CBR, at the deluxe resorts you might get upgraded.

Disney will not upgrade you for free based on a special occasion, but you may get lucky at check in and it wouldn't hurt to mention to the CM at check in that you are on your honeymoon and wondering if there were any free upgrades available.

I would not leave to chance something that you could not be happy without, e.g. I would book the King Bed room to guarentee a King Bed and not hope to be upgraded to one if it will be disappointing to sleep in a double. When you make your reservations (or call back if you already have) ask that it be noted that it is your honeymoon and you may get some pixie dust. Also, if you make ADR's (Advanced Dining Reservations) have them note it on these as well and you MAY get surprised with some confetti, a free dessert, or you may get nothing but it is worth trying. My husband and I honeymooned at CBR 4 years ago and it was wonderful! Like others have already said, they don't automatically do anything special just because it is your honeymoon but it doesn't hurt to ask! We got married at the end of January so it was not very crowded when we were there. We wore the Disney bride and groom ears to the airport on our way and were upgraded to 1st class (not Disney related but still cool!). We arrived late to CBR and they did not have a king bed like we had requested, but upgraded us to a waterfront view and said they could change our room the next day. We liked the location of our room so much that we decided to stay where we were! We bought the bride and groom pins and wore them throughout our trip. We had lots of little special moments when people saw that we were on our honeymoon, such as free desserts, getting to be in shows, etc. And our housekeeper decorated our room everyday with our bride and groom ears and towel animals! I can't guarantee that any of this will happen (you may get even more!), but we had a wonderful honeymoon there. Hope you have the same!
