Just subscribing. I am staying at this resort on my next WDW vacation and just wanted to get updated info. :)

I agree with you. Martinique is a little closer to Old Port Royale. :)
And, it's closer than Trinidad North 33, but TN33 is steps from the bus stop! :thumbsup2

Funny thing, I'm wearing the CBR t-shirt I bought while there! :teeth:

Just finished reading through many pages of this thread...I am getting so excited about our first stay at CBR!!!

Thanks to all for the great info, keep it coming!! :sunny:

Hi. No need to bump this thread. It is always stuck at the top of the Resorts board along with FAQ's of other resorts. :)

Is there a minumum height and age requirement to drive them?
When we were there in March, I thought I saw a sign, but can't remember the limit.
Thanks,

Thanks,

At our trip in June, it was 12 and 5'.

By those rules, I am not allowed to drive one at the ripe old age of 38. I even asked the marina guy.

Safetymom, are these rental rates the same prices? We would like to spend more time at the resort and we're thinking of renting watermice, bikes or surrey bikes. We were at CBR in 2004 and didn't have enough time at the resort to appreciate it and enjoy all it has to offer. This year we want to take advantage of this beautiful resort. Thank you for any info. you can provide. These rates are from 2004. Thanks! Connie

SafetyMom, does CBR sundries sell a loaf of bread? I'm bringing peanut butter and bread for our toddler who is a picky eater. But if CBR carries a loaf of bread, then I'll not worry about packing it.

Just wondering. Thanks for all the great info.

I updated the Marina prices on the front page. Some of them changed, some of them stayed the same.

Yes CBR sells bread but I will check again tomorrow when I go meet my sister.

You are an awesome CBR expert! :thumbsup2

And yes, 3 weeks ago, the CBR food court sold loaves of bread.

I just returned from CBR and I loved it! Thanks so much for all your advice Safetymom. I loved this resort. I ended up staying one more day because I just couldn't bear to leave. The last day I stayed in Jamaica 41 and for the beginning and most of my trip, I stayed at Trinidad North 31. I loved both areas even though Jamaica is not a preferred location. The surroundings were so beautiful that I didn't mind the extra walking. :thumbsup2

This is great to hear! It seems this resort isn't talked about much except when people have a complaint! :confused3

This is probably the most excited I've been about staying in a certain resort. Can anyone give me a good estimate regarding the time it takes to walk from Jamaica over to the food court/pool/shop area? Thanks!

I believe it took me about 10 minutes. Though it could have been less because I was walking leisurely and enjoying the scenery. :)

Thanks for the report on the bread. Now I won't have to worry about ours being smushed in the luggage.

Oh no, I noticed on your price report that sea raycers say maximum 2 people. I was hoping my dh and I could take a ride with our ds18month. Maybe the marina will let me hold him on my lap. Can't hurt to ask.

70 more days til our trip.

Thanks for such great info!

Thank you sooooooooooo much! I knew I could count on you Safetymom! You're the best :thumbsup2 Thanks for all your help. :yay:

My sister is staying in Jamaica 41 and it didn't take 10 mins. to walk to the food court. If I remember I will time my walking time to OPR.
