Any pictures or reviews of the new pirate rooms?? Anyone there right now??pirate:

I'm looking at the map and trying to figure out where to request a building...

We'll be staying at TS in a pirate room- I requested building 35- it looked like a good location.

My parents, however, did not book a pirate room so I'm looking at the map and trying to see where to put them- would you recommend Jamacia #41? It looks like its right across a bridge of some sort to our requested building- does this seem right?

Also, has this building been redone?

Does anyone know what areas are redone already? I'm getting ready to change our ressie and I'm trying to decide which mod to select. I've stayed here but it's been about 12 years.

Which bus stop has the lease amount of stops after I get on the bus?
It depends where the bus is going. For buses to Magic Kingdom and to Downtown Disney, Barbados is the last stop. For buses going to Epcot, to Animal Kingdom, and to Disney's Hollywood Studios, the last stop is Trinidad South.

You're correct, Jamaica 41 would be the closest building to TS 35; Trinidad North 33 would be closer, but that's a preferred location room that costs more per night than a standard room.

How old are your parents? I personally would request Jamaica 45 or Aruba 51...these are the two closest buildings to the bridge that leads to OPR.

We paid for a preferred room and DH's brother and family will be joining us for 2 nights - but did not book preferred. Should we all request Martinique? Aren't 3 buildings preferred and 3 standard?

Yes, you are correct 3 buildings of Martinique are considered standard. Make sure when you add in the request of Martinique for their room that their reservation is linked to yours. They'll have a better shot at getting a room in Martinique.

Don't get confused with the bridge that is a street for the buses and cars to cross. That bridge is closest to TS.

The foot bridge leading from Aruba and Jamaica cross over to OPR and the main pool. So, you should look at the bldgs. closer to that bridge for your parents convenience.

The main pool with pirate ship water play area is all complete.

TS is open for pirate theme rooms (they cost more per night than standard rooms)

All other villages have been (or in process) redone to Nemo rooms. Most are complete so you shouldn't have any problem requesting a Nemo room.

Are the internal buses different from the external buses? How do you know the difference? Sorry if this is a dumb question!!

I think the poster was talking about his/her parents having a room as close to his/her Pirate room as possible ... that kind of convenience.

The internal buses are physically the same buses as the external buses, but the marquee on the front and sides of the bus says "INTERNAL SHUTTLE". The external buses will say "MAGIC KINGDOM", "EPCOT", "DISNEY'S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS", "ANIMAL KINGDOM/BLIZZARD BEACH", or "DOWNTOWN DISNEY/TYPHOON LAGOON".

Do the CBR buses that go the parks have to stop at another resort before going to the park? I see the CSR lovers always talk about how they have thier own bus that doesn't have to stop at other resorts.

Nope, they have their own buses. But they can get crowded, but still manageable.

Usually no, but very late at night they will combine bus routes. I left EPCOT one night over two hours after the park closed and they combined CBR, AKL, and

Anyone have a pic of the new nemo rooms? Skimmed through the thread but did not see any...just read that they are being done.
I am thinking of downgrading from Poly and saving a whole lot of $$$!:thumbsup2
