The food court can be cramped during the busy times. They do have central check outs instead of paying at each station as they used to have.

No special menu items.

Shutters never seems that busy to me. I do know those that make an ADR for the restaurant as it has its busy times also.

Thanks, safetymom:thumbsup2

Can you see the epcot fireworks from the main pool? The first day we arrive we are heading to epcot for a few hours. I am really debating whether or not to stay for the fireworks or not. My husband and I have already seen them, but I know the kids would enjoy them, but I want to be to MK the next day hopefully at rope drop which would require us to be up a little early.
Thanks
Melanie

Yes, you can see Epcot's fireworks from several locations around the CBR.

Enjoy! :)

Not only can you see Illuminations, but if you stand on the walkway between the outside of Shutters and the lake you can see Wishes. Just find the spot where you can see Spaceship Earth peeking above the trees and the fireworks will appear directly above the dome.

That is cool!!!

I know this had been asked 1 million times, but, can someone tell me exactly what building the pirates rooms are?

Thanks

OK I'm finalizing our trip requests.

Which are the best rooms to request in Martinique, Trinidad North, and Jamaica? There's 4 of us, so a little extra space (even it's an optical illusion) would be welcome.

Thanks!

TN is preferred rooms - cost more per night; Martinque has some preferred and some standard. Both Martinque and Jamica are nice locations; I like both :)

Hi there!

We are planning on visiting in July with our 2 1/2 y/o son.

1. Is there a better place to stay on CBR that is quiet? DS's bed time is 8pm. We will request connecting rooms. We really aren't looking for preferred or view rooms - the cheaper the better!

2. Do they offer child trailers or child seats that attach to adult bikes @ the rental area?

3. Anyone rented a crib from an local rental company & have a suggestion? DS will not sleep in a pack n play, so we have to rent a reg crib.

4. Is there a late check-out option at this resort? DS naps middday, so I would like to be able to have him nap the last day of our trip in the room if possible.

Thanks so much for all the pictures! It has been so great scrolling through this forum! Very informative!

All the buildings in Trinidad South (34-39) will be pirate rooms.

You may get differing opinions on this ... I don't think there's such thing as one village that's quieter or noisier than another. Some might say that buildings closest to Old Port Royale (the "preferred location" rooms) because they figure that those buildings get the most foot traffic past them. However, they aren't taking into account the reality that the walkway around the lake is pretty far from the guest rooms themselves, so it's not like that will translate into increased noise inside the rooms.

If you want to know the potentially noisiest places at CBR, it's the rooms that are nearest each village's quiet pool. The pools, at times, are anything but quiet. Especially after 10 p.m., when CBR's new main pool reportedly closes. The rooms overlooking the quiet pools are water view rooms. I know you won't be reserving a water view room, but you could get a standard room just around the corner from one. I guess you could request a room NOT near a quiet pool.

I've never done it myself, but I've always read good things about A Baby's Best Friend, www.abbf.com .

Disney has a policy for this.

First of all, you would need to make a late check-out request to HOUSEKEEPING, not to the front desk. Housekeeping is in charge of that. The earliest you can request it would be the night before, but you'll most likely will be told that you'll have to check back in the morning because they can't give you an answer yet.

IF you are granted a late check-out, here are the terms:
  • until 1 p.m. -- no charge
  • until 3 p.m. -- 50% of rack rate (that is, 50% of the undiscounted nightly rate for that room)
  • after 3 p.m. -- 100% of rack rate

Maria-

I will kep you in mind- seriously. I really want to use the discount and DH is having his guys' trip to Colorado in Feb. He is gone a whole week. I have not had a girl's trip since before my first child. (3 years, at least, ago) DH goes on his trip every year.

I loved CBR, but did not see enough of it! Ready to go again!!

Catch you all later, I have work to do...

did anyone ever confirm if Jamaica has been completely redone or if it is still in process?

Have the rooms is Trinidad South been refurbed yet? I am dying to see the pirate themed rooms!! ;) We are trying to decide where to spend our last night in Disney and we are leaning to pirate room, but I want to see pics of them! ;)
