Thank you so much for answering my question about the parking lot views and posting those pictures.

To be honest I will be happy no matter what we get. We have only stayed at the Values before this. Thank goodness for the 40% code!

I have an odd question......Do the rooms on the first floor feel claustraphobic? Last January we stayed at POFQ and we were in a first floor room because of my two boys and strollers.....I just felt so claustraphobic walking in that room and now I'm afraid I'll feel the same way at CB.....I usually request a room on a "higher" level at any hotel, but since it will be just my mom and I again with the two boys and strollers the first floor room makes sense! Thanks for your answers in advance!

I actually thought our first floor room at CBR (Trinidad North 3128) felt bigger -- but that's because our door opened up right onto one of the courtyard -- here's a photo I took from our doorway:

It almost made our room larger, if you can imagine.... like having an outdoor addition onto our room -- and no one but us used the courtyard, which made it really nice!

Plibster, yes, there are breakfast items in the grab and go section that qualify as snack items on the DDP. We've stayed at CBR several times, although we don't use the DDP, but I have noticed the DDP snack item icons next to many of the items that you mentioned, like yogurt and fruit and individual cereal boxes. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that most any item under $4 qualifies as a snack on DDP.

As you can see there is very little "concrete", and lots of green!

Thank You for Posting these pictures. I actually requested to be near the parking lot because we have a 20 month old and Lugging everything back and forth might kill us after a long day at the parks. It looks so beautiful I am glad we made the choice to stay here.

I have a pretty odd question-- what time does the bridge across the lake close? I thought I remember it closing at 9, which seemed really inconvenient for late night snackers like myself. I was thinking maybe this time we'd stay in one of the buildings opposite OPR, but I don't want to walk allll the way around the lake later on at night.

I've never come across the bridge to OPR being closed. There are portions of the island that close...different walkways through the island, but the main walkway over the bridge and island does not close.

It doesn't close; at least never when we've tried going across and my DH is a night owl.

We had our then 17 month old with us and had a courtyard view. We just took the stroller to the room with us everytime we came back from the parks or what-not.

Just got back from CBR last night! Wow! We had a great time!!

It was my first stay at a moderate after previous deluxe stays. I have NO complaints!

We loved CBR, but did not get to see as much there and do as much as I had planned. It was too COLD!! Brrrrr.... Warmer than our hometwon, but we just go there for the blast of artic air. Unusual experience.

I will write more later.

If anyone has a question, please ask. I may be able to answer some questions about the resort.

My friend lost her job and cannot join me. My DH is Dis'd out after last week. So, now I have to find a new travel pal. I may get a co-worker to join me. We shall see....

Thank you so much for the response. Its good to know that I won't have to go to the store for yogurt, LOL! I will use one snack credit for breakfast and the other for an afternoon snack. MMMMM can't wait!

Last year we went to the Contemporary for Water Skiing and the water tubing....kids just want to do water tubing this year.

Welcome back! I'm so glad you enjoyed CBR! Hey, I'll be your travel pal! hehe I was given an AP for Christmas, hubby got a new job so he can't take any time off for a while and I can't find anyone to go with me either.
