Here are the first of my pictures: panoramas of the pool taken on the 14th. Since these pictures were taken the painting was completed of the slide structure and the scaffolding was taken down. You can see the hot tub and zero-depth entry in the last two panoramas.

I'll post more pictures of the pool later.

Great pictures! I can't wait to see more! We are staying at CBR for the first time in October, I'm so excited!

Awesome pics! I can't wait till our trip in Dec. I'm also interested in the length of the slide. Anyone have this info? Thanks!

WOW the pool looks great. I cant wait to see it. I am going from 9/5 to 9/12. It looks like those pics were from about a week ago. Do we know if the pool is open yet? ( fingers crossed..:woohoo: )

The ppol looks great. I too am curious if they have an updated open date scheduled yet. We stay there Oct 18 and really hope it is open by then!

Wow, thanks for sharing those awesome photos! They're great!

Are there playgrounds on all the beaches? If not, can someone tell me which ones? I looked on the map but I can't see them marked. Thanks!

ETA: ok, now I see them - Jamaica, Trin South and Martinique, right? Anywhere else? If I decide to go with preferred, and I want to be near the playground, asking for Martinique is probably my best bet, yes?

The Martinique playground is on the beach Martinique shares with Barbados, which is adjacent to the 'non-preferred' section of Martinique, but it's still the closest playground to the preferred section of Martinique. :thumbsup2

Thank you for the pool pics!! I can't wait to see the rest! Im hoping you post them soon!!

Here are pictures I took this evening. I will go back over when it isn't raining. I didn't want to ruin my camera getting it wet.

Okay, to continue my CBR pics, here are some pics of the local wildlife.

First off are the Muscovy Duck chicks who were way too used to people for their own good. The day pictures were from my first day when I only had my cell phone for pictures:

Next up are the Sandhill Cranes that drove the ducks away. Again, this was a water-park day so I only had my cell phone for pictures:

Here is one of the Cuban Anoles that seemed to be everywhere:

This frog was sitting on the ledge below one of the hallway lights, eating the bugs that flew into the light:

Finally, one of the many turtles seen around the island (I think they are softshell turtles):

It seems like such a shame to see such a beautiful pool, filled with water, but not ready to swim in.

It looks great! I can't wait until our trip!!!

On that note...

I have a question...

Today, I checked the code again and if we stayed an extra day (six nights), we would be paying $2,658, as opposed to 5 nights at $2,668 without the code.

I know I already told DH that we would be saving $360 on the five nights, but now, we could be saving $10 on 6 nights.

Do you think I should even ask him for the extra night, or just be satisfied with the fact that we saved $360?

Oh! I checked the offer and with the 6th night, we'd also get one more day of DDP and tix with Park Hopper.

What do you think?:confused3

Thanks so much for the new pics. We will be there tomorrow! Yay! So how bad is the storm down there and when does the pool open? I can't wait.

Next are a few pictures of the room. Most of these highlighted the towel animals we got (a small bunny pen holder, a larger rabbit that was posed with our stuffed animals, a swan that was placed next to a towel face and a towel toothbrush holder, and two hat people):

Finally, a view out our window. Most of these plants were trimmed to about three feet high the last day we were there:

Thanks for the pool pictures! A rainy day at CBR is better than a sunny working day in northeast Ohio for me!pirate:

YAY!! Thanks for all the new pics! We're still 30 days out and the excitement is building.

I can't wait to see the water features turned on for the new pool!!! Also curious how the area will look lit up at night.

Thanks for the wildlife photos. They're darling! Beautiful panoramic shots of the pool too. Looking forward to our trip in December.

:confused3 So I was so excited to read about the new Finding Nemo rooms. We are headed to Disney in two weeks. I called the CBR and the CM confirmed that some of the rooms are completed. I asked how I could go about requesting one and she transferred me to reservations. I spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to find out about one of these rooms. The CM told me there were no such rooms available. Please tell me how to book one of these rooms.
