Caribbean Beach - need ground floor

My mom will be traveling with us for our September trip. She just had (minor) knee surgery yesterday. Since there are no elevators at CBR, am I able to request a ground floor room for her (and an maybe even a connecting room for us)? I already have ground floor connectin rooms on our room requests, but I didn't know if I should call and let them know why she needs ground floor??

Yes you can request a ground floor room. We have been there the past 3 years and have always requested a ground floor room because of kids and stroller. They have always been very helpful. I am sure under your situation they would honor your request. Just call and explain the reason so they will know the importance of the request.

If you call and ask them to mark on the reservation that it is "medically necessary" it will get a priority handling. If they do this, ask them to send you a new copy of the confirmation.
