Joining this thread! Looking forward to reading all the info I can on this great looking resort. My family and I will be staying in June. The first part of our vacation is booked at the BC, then we'll move to CBR. We are a family of six, so we require two rooms. Does anyone have any recommendations on locations for adjoining rooms? Thanks all!

We've had great luck requesting adjoining rooms at the CBR. We received them each time that we requested them in Aruba, Jamaica (2x) and in Martinique.

So, we had a slight issue with this a few years ago but CBR fixed it at check in. Be aware that adjoining rooms means rooms next to one another and CONNECTING rooms means rooms that connect with a door between them. We requested adjoining and didn't realize that they weren't connected with a door. They switched us after some work on their part, no problem. They guarantee connecting rooms for families with children.

We just got back from our 5th stay at CBR Saturday and had connecting rooms again. My wife and I and our 3 kids (9,8,5) always get connecting rooms there and love the arrangement.

Enjoy your stay.

We are schedule do stay at POR but everyone is hoping for CBR. But I told the kids if it gets refurbed I will make the switch. Anyone have any news on this?

The refurb is scheduled to start in April and will go building by building until it's done. No timeline for when it will be finished.

Any one know if you can see the fireworks from epcot on the CBR property? If so where is the best spot to see them? Also how well can you see them?

Yes you can. Now granted most of Illuminations fireworks are low to the ground, but you can see the higher ones. It's definitely not like watching wishes from the Poly beach. And you can hear them for sure. We like to watch from the Martinique beach. But you can also see them from the bridge.

Cool!!! Thanks!!! May be a fun thing to do our first night. Either that or may have the kids turn in early in preparation.

Okay, I have to know the secret of kids turning in early on the first night at Disney? The second night they usually are exhausted -- but for us, the first night was always either too amped up in anticipation, or got their second wind from their first day of excitement.

Just booked for 3 nights Feb 15-18! DF and I reserved a king room..any building requests that are asked for? I haven't stayed at the resort since 2008 and DF has never stayed. We typically stay at Coronado or French Quarter but decided to give this a try!

Hi
We are in the UK & are visiting CBR for the first time in July. Which is the best way to make a request? Thanks in advance xx

We really like Jamaica 45. It's a short stroll across the bridge to OPR and the main pool. Aruba 51 is very nice too.

Call the main reservation line and add any room requests to your reservation.

As previous poster stated, you can see the higher fireworks. We were there 12/14/13-12/21/13 and could see and hear them from Trinidad North.

I don't suppose anyone has the resort movies/activities schedule for February yet?

Thank you! We'll be staying at the resort to watch a movie on the 15th- hope Cool Runnings is a good film! I wish it was Friday and Mulan instead.

Yeah that is what I am afraid of. We plan on having our first day a pool day in the afternoon and Downtown Disney in the evening for dinner. So when we had back to the resort it will depend on the energy level. If they are so pumped that going to bed is not going to work I thought it might be fun to watch the fireworks. We will just have to see.

What time is the campfire usually in the month of may and where do they have it?
