We just got home this morning (drove all night). I have to say that the crowds were get!! I used wdw prep school to plan what parks to do each day and it worked out perfectly!! I can't stress the fact enough that you need to get to the park for rope drop!! We were done with almost every park by lunch time!!! AK day we never saw any lines over 20 min and that included the safari!! The longest wait we had was Toy Story Mania at HS but that was bc we waited to do it until mid morning when we should have done it first thing.

Has anyone stayed in first floor, building 24- water view recently? I am wondering if the fridges have been updated yet, or if we will be out of luck. It seems like they have been updating the fridges over several months now for CBR.

Someone mentioned a credit if there is no fridge- do I just ask at the front desk? How much of a credit is it?

$15 a day

Just subscribed to this thread. I got some reading to do. I keep changing the resort we are staying at for 2014 trip. CBC keeps coming back to top. Only cause I think I can talk DH into MNSSHP if we don't stay at BC. I keep going between the two. Can't wait to read what you all have to say. I will add that I have wanted to stay here since our first trip back in 08. I only go to WDW every three years. So this is my third trip back. The first (with DH and 3 older teens) we stayed at POR. Last trip in 11 was just DD and me. We stayed at POP. I loved both for different reasons. My goal is to stay at all the resorts. (Ok honestly some not as much as others.)

We checked into Martinique yesterday, and we have a working fridge. They confirmed that magic bands will be effective 10/7. Having a great time so far!

Oh no, hoping to get that village in Nov. Are you in standard or preferred? What building? Are the rooms in good shape?

We are in building 24 preferred. Everything is great besides no fridge. We are also traveling with two other families who are staying in rooms right next to us and they have working fridges. Sounds like it's just hit or miss with the fridges.

Oh I hope we have a fridge. We arrive in 3 weeks.

I was planning on requesting Aruba or Jamaica. I love the walk across the bridge.

:goodvibes

Does anyone know when Disney is saying all the fridges should be in by? Just curious if there is a date out there for it all to be finished by. I thought when it started they were saying mid-October.

I just called last night to pay balance for our trip for mid Nov. and was told fridge replacement will def. be completed prior to our arrival. So glad as I would rather have fridge than a credit.

Not bad, a few fast passes needed for the popular rides. Most lines are 10-20 mins!
It always amazes me walking around the parks it seems line so many people around but not long wait times.

We had the same experience. Longest lines we saw were Toy Story and Peter Pan. We literally walked on almost everything!

I love love CBR! I truly want it to be at the too of my list for our 2014 trip but I don't think the double beds work for us anymore. Before each kid would sleep with either XH or myself. Now DS is 14 it's like two adults to a bed. We need queens. He could sleep with DD 8 and then SO and I in one bed.

Any talk on then doing a refurb to queen beds?

They first announced it the second week of July and said 4 months, so that would mean by the second week of November. I would think they will be done by then, but their timeline is another 6 weeks.

We are going August 2014. Wondering if it'll be done because if it is I will definitely book!

I have a CRAZY question. I'm kind of weird about my clothes hanging in the bathroom, so I want to take a tension rod and shower curtain to hide them. Does anyone know how long that area is?

That is crazy.

But whatever... we all have our issues, right?;)

It will be longer than a shower rod... Maybe? by a foot? Maybe? Might be very close in size actually.

Just a guess.
