28 days until we arrive at WDW. Magicbands arrived yesterday! Can anyone tell me what is available for purchase at the Market/Trading Post? What are the prices like? We need to figure out if we are doing a Garden Grocer's order or not. Please share any information you have. Thanks!

Here are pictures that I took in 2012 and when we went in May, 2013, the variety and prices were pretty much the same. I know that the prices aren't shown in all of the pictures but I can tell you that the Coke products were much higher than ordering them from Garden Grocer, the pastries and bread items were about the same price as Garden Grocer as were the various sizes of milk. Having said that, we usually order from Garden Grocer as it's easier and more convenient for us even though we have a car at our disposal. The prices for Garden Grocer are pretty close to what they are in the grocery stores there. (We used to make a stop at the grocery store in Kissimmee.)

Just wanted to add my 2 cents - DH and I were at CBR 3-14 this month. We've always stayed at POFQ and loved it, but wanted to try something different this time. We absolutely loved CBR! We will staying here again next year. I'm hoping they replace the doubles with queens, but being short people, we can deal if they don't. We were in Martinique 25, so we were close to OPR and the pool.

As a pp stated, because of its size, it does not seem crowded. One thing I liked was that there were more tables for eating outside than they had at FQ.

The pool at Martinique was closed for refurbishment, but we swam in the large pool at OPR anyway, so it didn't matter. Never had to stand on any bus we took, or wait very long for one. We did not have a refrigerator in our room while we were there, though.

Looking forward to our next trip!

Thanks so much for your review. We are CBR lovers and stayed at FQ for a night this past May. Man, was we ever ready to get back to our "home" resort. We enjoy how spread out the CBR is and the layout so the small quaint size of the FQ just wasn't for us. That's not to say that it's not a lovely resort because it is.

I will have landed at MCO and on ME!!!! Then off to CBR for our first visit to the World!

I'm giddy with excitement and can't wait.

I love reading the reviews. I'm going with an open mind.

And between you and me :lmao: I'm looking forward to sitting on a hammock at sunset with a glass of wine! :cool1:

You are definitely going into this first trip with a great frame of mind! One of our favorite things to do is lounge around on the beaches in the hammocks and beach chairs. ::yes::

Just curious, has anyone stayed at both CSR and CBR? I'm wondering how the two compare.

My DF and I are thinking about staying here over Columbus Day weekend. We are partial to CSR and POFQ (stayed there 3x already this year). I've only stayed at CBR once back in 2008 and wasn't thrilled with it but we're looking to give it another chance and in a King Bed. Does anyone have pics of the king bedrooms and your likes/dislikes of the resort compared to POFQ and CSR? Thanks!!!

Does anyone know if the cribs are full size, compact or pack and play type? Anyone ever use a crib or toddler bed rental company? Arriving 10/28, first stay at CBR, used to GF as we usually go for a conference and it is the same price as the moderates, but excited to try free dining! Love all the positivity on this site!

They are Pack and Play.

We just left and had a pack n play. We were in a pirate room and it fit perfectly between the exterior wall and bed closest to the door! My daughter slept wonderfully in it all week! : )

We leave on Monday for our big surprise trip! Just put in a order for a banner that reads "surprise! You're going to disney world!" To have on the car when we pick the kids up from school &take them to the airport.
To anyone who is down there now how are the crowds?

As for your question on the crowds - heavy! We always go in the fall and I have never seen crowds this heavy in September before! We have been here since Sunday the 15th and I most of the magic kingdom headliners have been at 50/55 minutes all week. The character lines have all taken at least and hour to get through but the character interaction has been great. Test track has been sitting at about 40 minutes all week. Toy story mania was 80. Tower of terror was 25/30. Yesterday it did seem like Epcot was a little lighter crowd wise. Going to dhs today so hopefully a light day there!
