That is my question too. I would like to get a room facing the water and a standard room as close as I can get to the main pool and on the second floor. Do they let you prioritize when making request or is it better to request just one thing that is most important to you?

You can make multiple requests. When you call to add your room requests list them in order of preference.

FYI, Jamaica 45, Martinique 22 and Aruba 51 are the closest standard locations. Because water view is a bookable category and costs more, that request is unlikely to be met.

How seriously will Disney take me if I make multiple request upon doing online check in.

I'll be requesting Martinique, Bldg. 22, Corner Room, Bottom Floor (Stroller for 2 year old, not taking that down stairs! LOL). I'll be requesting a fridge too if they don't have that handled by that time.

How has everyones request been handled? Do you often get what you ask for?

You can only do 2 requests with online check-in. If you want more than 2 you have to call and have a CM add them to your reservation.

Can anyone report on how the fridge recall is going at this resort? The website reports it can take up to 4 months but some of the other resorts are reporting all done with replacing the fridges. Staying first 2 weeks in oct with a infant who is on milk that needs to be stored in a fridge, so we really must have one. Thanks gang.

Apparently I spend way to much time on this site. I read yesterday on another thread that fridges where in the room when she checked it. But if you're really concerned, make sure to either make note of it on your online check in or call and have a CM added to the notes on your reservation.

Have a magical time and I can't wait to hear all about and see pics:goodvibes

Those are still the old fridges, most resorts have not even removed them yet. As of a few days ago Disney still hadn't picked the supplier for the new fridges, so I severely doubt they have even ordered any yet, let alone replaced them. They will be taking that 4 months for sure, if not longer.

They have a few fridges of another type on hand for medical needs only. From what I've seen, a baby that needs milk would be under that category.

The only issue I see is that standard room and facing the water are separate booking categories. Water view rooms cost $25/night more (relying on memory for the cost). I have read that it is best to make reequests in the order of importance.

Just checked in for my first trip to CBR and first mod resort. Always have stayed Deluxe on past trips. I must say, I miss the Monorail but this resort does not disappoint! Did early check-in, arrived at 8am and both rooms were ready! Now for the fridge... 1 room has one and the other does not. So still looks like they are working through it. Have a preferred room (Mart 26). Rooms are great, 1 corner room. No refurb going on here just the new linens.

Just checked in this morning... Made a few requests... Early check in (8am), 2nd Floor, Martinique and water view. I have a preferred room. All requests were met AND they were able to get connecting rooms for a family member traveling with me as well. I was very pleased. Figured with requesting such an early check in I'd either get the requests OR the check in, not both.

Wow!! That's awesome! Glad you got everything you asked for. Let me know how the walk is to the bus from the buildings.

Is there an extra charge for early check in? Our plane lands at 9:30 am at MCO. How long before we get to CBR?

Nope. You can check in as early as 6am with no extra charge.

You should arrive at CBR by 10:30-11:00.

Your room may not be ready but if you have a package, you can get your tickets to the parks at the check-in counter, check your bags and go to the parks. They will let you know when your room is ready.

OKay, I feel a little silly for asking, because the answer will not matter in the least. We've stayed there 5 times and have loved every room we've ever gotten so when I ask "Where would a king sized bed room be located" it's really for curiosity, rather than necessity.

When you do online check-in, you can only make two requests. Though I've heard you can call and make more requsts. I just asked for second floor (better view and no one tromping on the ceiling) & corner room. We're in a pirate room, so our village is already chosen.

I didn't notice that on the website until now. So what would you request if you don't want to face a parking lot? A court yard view? Or are the parking lots fairly well screened?

Standard views are either parking lot or courtyard. With all the vegetation though the parking lot views aren't bad, as you don't see much parking lot.

They are sprinkled throughout the resort. The Pirate themed rooms are the only ones that don't have any kings.
