31 days and still no Mickey Mail, but that's just as well because I decided to change resorts. The more I thought about it the more we want to avoid the impending cheerleader apocalypse. I just know we won't be able to tolerate the incessant cheering. We moved to a King room at CSR, and requested the Cabanas to try to preserve a bit of that tropical flair I was so looking forward to. I have lots of research ahead of me- I don't know a thing about CSR! lol Happy planning everyone!

Had the day off of work today and have been planning the adventure all day long... trying to plan for 8 people(2 rooms) ... who is going to eat when and where, and will they like it!

The good news is that the plans have all went very well, and we have it all figured out(we think lol). Managed to plan time with the kids and some nice meals on our own!!

A little nervous on how smooth the transportation is going to go, but we are driving this time, so can always use the Van as a backup!

Oh yes and the last thing for now... MMail arrived! (will have to use this cheerleader now in every post for this trip lol)

Our Mickey Mail got to our Travel Agent today. And we are 22 days out. So We are hopeing to get it Tuesday. I can't wait to see it. Wedding and Honeymoon quickly approaching nervous and excitement, ahhh I can't contain myself any longer. lol.

We got all our MM in the past couple days (2 rooms so 2 sets) and we're just abuot 19-20 days out.

Just 26 more days I think me and my wife are more excited than the kids!!! We have spent the the 1st week of may at CBR for the past 3 yrs and it has been perfect I know the cheerleaders were there but we never realy noticed them we were to busy living out our Disney dreams

YAY! Were at 31 days now! It seems Disney is all I can think of now! Haha I read that the cheerleaders were going to be at CBR, but it doesn't bother me, let them have their fun cause I'll be busy having fun myself!

Has anyone who has stayed here recently found the rooms to be musty and moldy?? I have seen that a lot on trip advisor and since I have asthma I would find this be a huge problem

You can request that your room be cleaned specific for allergies, you can inform them of what your triggers are and they can work with your specific needs as far as linens or just have them clean everything prior to check in. We stayed there last May and had no problem, clean as a whistle with no smell or anything. Socks didn't even get dirty walking around the room. We were in 44 or 45 Jamaica, can't remember.

We had a lovely, CLEAN room at the beginning of March. My DD has asthma and allergies and never encountered any issues. We did not request a special cleaning, either. (But if you are worried, please do request the special cleaning! It's much better to be safe than sorry!!!)

We're 165 days out and Disney is all we can talk about. It's gunna be a long 5 months for us! lol. Have a great Trip!

Our trip this year is to Myrtle Beach and CBR is 14 months away so just start thinking how lucky you are to be 165 days out.

Now I talked about it and am now going into CBR withdrawell. Please someone who is at the resort post pictures so I might feel better!!!!!!!

Also, please don't let cheerleaders cause you a problem. They will practically live at the parks, most people find that unless you are told they are there you wouldn't notice. Now a visit to one of the values when the youth soccer teams are in is plain crazy.LOL Please keep it to yourself as our local soccer club was there in 2011 and won the girls div. and will be back in 2013.

We were there in Jan/Feb, and our room in Martinique 21 had a musty smell. It was perfectly clean, but it certainly didn't smell fresh. It was the worst when the air was off.

Oh. I am definately not complaining. I just don't know what I am going to do with myself between now and then since I'm already obsessed! lol.

Thanks, we do WDW every other year. On the off we go where we can sleep in and not feel we are wasting time or money. If you are doing a Disney vacation you can't afford to wast the time as there is so much to do, see and eat. When we do the off year at a fraction of the cost it is more to relax and veg. I guess eating is always there but we cook a lot of those meals where WDW I do not want to wast time by cooking. My DW loves both vacations. One Disney cooks and two the men cook. Only fare!!!

Have a great time at WDW and tell us all about it and with pictures if you can.

Just returned from CBR. I love this resort. We did online check in and got a room in Trinidad North building 31 ground level corner room facing the water. Perfect! The room was great. Not musty or moldy smelling like some have said. Housekeeping was great and our room was always cleaned early. There were several large school groups, but that really didn't bother us. The only time was at night when the large group would be at the hottub. We did not get to use the hottub, but we didn't let that bother us. And as long as we were at the food court early for breakfast, it was not crowded. We never waited longer than 5 minutes for a bus. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I have stayed at many onsite Disney hotels, and CBR is one of my favorites!

I just got back from DL and am really happy to go to WDW next! DL was fine, but WDW is a totally different experience (and sorry DL, but WDW is better in my opinion). And I realized that I can say I will be at CBR NEXT MONTH!!! Yeah!

Hey everyone, me and my daughter are staying at CBR on April 14th to the 21st. We always stayed at a value resort before, so this is our first time at a mod. Any tips? We requested buildings 44, 45 or 46, is it likely our request will be "granted", lol

Any bits of advice anyone wants to share would be great!

Hey guys! The search function doesn't seem to be working right now so I thought I'd just ask quickly. Are the coffeemakers in CBR the pod kind yet? We're staying in early June. if they are, can you use any type of pod with them or does it have to be a specific kind?
