I believe Shutters is the name of the onsite sit down restuarant. If you want an ADR you can call Disney Dining, or you can go online to the Disney site and make an ADR that way as well.

What is Shutters any way! Please tell me!:confused3

Okay, so I just realized that the Cheerleading Worlds will be going the same time we are at WDW and that CBR is also a resort that they will staying at addition to the All-Stars. I'm not worried about seeing them in the parks but was more concerned with the buses. We will be staying in the Pirate rooms will have trouble getting seats on the buses. I'm assuming they will not be in our buildings but I have read our stops are at the end of the route. We will be doing rd in the am so I also would think they would not be out at this time in am.

when is cheerleading worlds??

Hi I'm taking 40 plus girls to caribbean beach on March 22-29 for softball I believe the cheering is the week prior. Keep in mind they only get so much time in the parks since they have to go to their cheering comps have a great time. My group is already pre assigned to a whole village i'm sure cheering does the same thing

I still think there is some sort of cheering coming in before us I know when I spoke with resort and the sports area they mentioned it ,let me call tomorrow and I will find out for sure

I feel like I have read this somewhere, but can't find it again...is there a curtain or door or something separating the sink/bathroom area from the bed area? We stayed at CSR two years ago and they have the pocket doors. Just trying to figure out how we can get our DD1 to nap -- she does better if she can't see us!

TIA!!

:cheer2: This weekend is the UCA High School Cheerleading Nationals :cheer2: I know of a few squads and their families staying at CBR. I checked for rooms for this week just last week and there's nothing to be had at a value or a moderate, so looks like it will be pretty busy :cheer2:

There's a curtain! :thumbsup2

Hi!!

DH & I just decided that it would make sense for us to drive down a day early & be more rested & ready to hit the parks on our 1st day! Yay! :cool1:

So we decided to try the CBR (since we've always wanted to stay there & this will probably be the last time we can since baby DS will soon be over 3)!

If I book a preferred room at CBR, does that mean we will be in either Martinque or Trinidad North?

I know you can't book both waterview & preferred. But can I request it?

And can I request a certain building?

I think we would like Martinque #25 or #26 because it's close to both a beach & Center Town.

Trinidad North #31 wouldn't be bad either. But I think I prefer Martinque #25 or #26 since (according to the map) it looks to be almost right on the beach.

So, is Martinque #25 or #26 a good location?

Can I book a preferred room & request Martinque #25 or #26, waterview?

If it makes a difference, we probably won't be checking in until around 7:00 or 8:00 pm. We'll be checking out the next morning. So I want to be close to the food court & pool. We'd like to visit the pool right after we check in & be close to the food court for our breakfast before checking out the next morning.

Thanks for the help!!

On the Disney Dream, the name of the place where the pictures for purchase are is called Shutters, as well. I spent the trip VERY confused, wondering why there was a dining place in the middle of the ship that I couldn't find!

(Okay, not totally confused, but just a little. Got off the ship today and now I can start preparing for the CBR trip in July!!)

Hi!!

So, is Martinque #25 or #26 a good location?

We stayed at CBR for 10 days in Dec. 2008. We were in Martinique 25, facing the lagoon and IMO it was the best location in the place. Right beside the food court, 2 mins to the pool, 2 mins to the bus stop, and the beach out front has a fantastic view of the epcot fireworks every night!!
