Does any one know a good room to ask for that is close to a bus stop? When we get back at night I am so tired that it seems like it takes an hour to walk back to the room!!

We had Jamaica building 41 and I think it was the furthest we have ever walked before!!

We also had Aruba 51 and that seemed just as far.

Thanks.. We are using Magical Express. So for our return trip to the airport will Bell Services come pick up our luagge from our room to take to airline check in? Thanks again

Yes they will, but you will need to schedule it about 24 hr. in advance, by calling Bell Svc. button on the phone.

Do you think it would be better to check in online before we go or wait till we get there...we really want a corner room..last time we made requests for POP we checked in beforehand, the queue was longer at our counter and we never got our request..just wondering if any system helps my chances any better in your opinion?

We got 2 end rooms (one was the corner) this past November and did online check-in. We didn't actually request anything - just got lucky and got it

We also did online check-in for WLV on the same trip and did have a request (water view) and got that...

Call the CBR directly and speak with a cast member at the front desk. I did my request about 5 days before my arrival.

Does that pirate ship play area at the pool have one of those big buckets that dumps water randomly? Is there any noise or anything to signal that it's about to dump?

I ask because when we stayed at a hotel/indoor water park that had one of those, my littlest one HATED IT! She screamed bloody murder and refused to step foot in the pool for the rest of our stay.

Anyone? We leave in 10 days.

The bucket at the pirate pool does fill up and spill water randomly. I would say it is about every 5 minutes or so. There really wasn't a warning like a bell, but you could see it getting filled up and starting to move. If you are on the other side of the bucket you don't really get wet. My son was scared of it when we first got there but by the end was ok with it. Maybe enough time has passed that she will be ok. Good luck!

We were in Jamaica 45...it was a minute walk to the Jamaica bus stop or a 5 minute walk to OPR...just right over the bridge...and you do not have to pay preferred rates. The OPR bus stop is a 30 second walk from the OPR building.

When we were there last June, Jamaica was the first stop to pick up and the first stop to drop off for all parks. I beleive the routes change depending on the time of year and crowds.

You're chances are not any better based on the way you check in. We had made our room request for connecting rooms with one of them being a corner room in Jamaica 45 when we made our resort reservations about 50 days before our scheduled trip in June. Yes, we were actually that specific in our request understanding that we may not get any or all of our request.

We did online check in which save us loads of time at the resort. And we got our request...all of it.

However, you have the option of asking to change your room (if there are other rooms available) when you pick up your packet...same as if you did not do on online check and and you checked in right at the resort.

Hi just got back today after a two week stay, so got to know the resort pretty well, we were in martinique, building 23 and the bus stop was right outside, also a very short walk to the quiet pool, and only 5 to 10 min to the food court. Our friends were were in barbados, and they had a long walk to the food court, the resort is very big and i know some people say the walk is not that far, but after a day in the parks any walk feels along way.
It is very pretty though to walk round, and you can get a lovely veiw of the fireworks at the tables on the bridge, by the pool bar. have a lovely stay.

The corner rooms have 2 windows. Making for more light and giving the illusion of a bigger room! (It's not actually any bigger)

They have long since disabled the bell on the bucket dump. As of today, it is still not clanging.
