We are staying at CBR in August, and we're so excited! I've read you can watch the Epcot fireworks from "the beach". Were exactly do we need to go for that?

Somebody please help me!!!! I recently saw a picture of a coconut in the CBR gift shop that had a small image on it and a label so you could post it home. The picture was on one of these threads and now I can't find it!!! My girlfriend thinks i'm mad and I imagined it. I know I didn't and I need you guys to help me!!! Can someone post a picture if they have one, or at least confirm if they still sell them?? We will be there in a couple of weeks and I would love to buy one to beat her with for doubting me............I mean take home as a lovely souveneir!!!!!

Yes they still have them. It comes with a priority mail label on it. They have them in a barrel in the gift shop area.

nope, you are not insane...i saw them also --- i remember showing them to dh and telling him how funny it would be to send my parents and his parents a coconut in the mail...they were really cute!!!

They do have them at the CBR. It's a full size coconut that has been drained and painted. It has a priority mail label on it so it's ready to mail. I wish I had a picture to post for you.

I just checked to see and standard rooms opened up with the AP rate! I just upgraded DS and I to CBR from Pop. I can't wait!

We stayed in Jamaica 45 last trip and it was fabulous!!!!!!! Perfect location!!!

We are planning for November 2010 and DH says he only wants to stay at CBR. So do I! Hoping we get Jamaica 45 again!!!!

I just booked a perfered room at CBR, this is for a very very LAST minute trip (long weekend) 4/29-5/3 and I was wondering if a perferd room is a pirate or a nemo room?

Good for you - how exciting!! Preferred rooms are Nemo themed and in Martinique (24, 25, 26) or Trinidad North Villages (31, 32, 33).

I know I saw somewhere pictures of the different villages. Would anyone be able to help? Also, it looks like Martinique 22 might be a good location without upgrading to a preferred room???

Safetymom & wise CBR friends...

Is there an additional charge for king beds in standard rooms? This is the first trip in which I'd like a king bed and disneyworld.com seems to indicate there's an extra $112 charge for my 4 night stay if I want a king bed. Seems unnecessary that there would be an additional charge if you ask me.

I like the bare minimums when it comes to booking a room: no preferred view (pirate rooms, pool views, etc.) so I'll take a room with an extra bed if it's what I have to do.

Thanks, I did see these, however there were pictures that showed the entire buildings of each village with the different color schemes . It was similar to the map that is shown here, which helps considerably in deciding where to stay by the way, but showed the actual entire village pictures , It could have been on any of the other websites I was checking too and I forgot where I saw it.
