Car Rental Return

I will be renting a car from Alamo for outr next trip. Picking up from MCO but not returning it to MCO. We will be staying at the BC. Is the Disney Car Care Center the closest place to return the car or is there something colser to the BC?

I believe Alamo has a counter at the Dolphin.

I just did this on Saturday. We were staying at the BCV and I returned a car to National/Alamo at the Dolphin. Took the boat back to BCV. I probably could have walked back faster, but I was lazy that day!

Probably DME. A lot of people combine renting a car, for various reasons, and DME.

I wasn't aware you could take DME one-way.

Yep. Going back DME. Going to the Orlando area for 14 days, but only need the car for 7. Saves a few bucks.

I'm also intending to return my rental to the Dolphin in May. Anyone know if this can be done after the 4pm desk closing time? TIA!

They probably have a drop box, but personally, I want someone there to do the return paperwork so I have proof I returned the car and was on time.

My brother returned a car at the Dolphin last October around 8pm on a Sunday night. He left the car with the valet, that is what Alamo told him to do when he picked the car up at the Car Care Center. The valet signed his paperwork so my brother had proof he returned the car.

We did the same thing in April. We rented a car for the first few days of our trip (visited family for a few days before we checked in at Disney) and returned the car at the Dolphin. Easiest rental car return EVER!!! We pulled up to the valet, he signed something or gave us a receipt (I forget exactly...) and we were on our way. We walked from there to Epcot and spent the afternoon.

We used DME for our return to the airport a week later. Everything went very smoothly.
