Car rental GOOD NEWS!

OK, I have been whining about minivan rental rates for weeks. A few days ago, I went to EVERY car rental website that is onsite at MCO and signed up for email special deals.

I GOT AN EMAIL TODAY FROM BUDGET-- $199/WEEK MINIVAN !!

$199.99/week Minivan Additional Terms and Conditions:
-- Offer valid for pickup 8/15-11/15/04 at participating US airport locations.
-- Blackout dates include but are not limited to 9/2-9/5/04 in Boston; 9/18-10/17/04 in CT, RI, MA, ME & NH; and 10/7-10/10/04 in Boston & FL.
-- Non-participating locations include, but are not limited to the NY Metro area and Martha's Vineyard.

I arrive the 13th, but will go without a car for the first day and a half, I booked to pick it up at midnight the 14th/15th! We will be at Universal, not far from airport. I'll have to take a cab I guess.

Wow! That's great. It must be a special deal for those who have signed up for their e-mail deals. I just went onto their website and tried to get the same deal for my dates (10/23-30) and the price was over $350. I signed up for their e-mails so maybe I'll get lucky!

The promoe code that comes up is U030121. I am not sure if you can just type it in, but it is worth a try! I was happy to see with Fast break, no charge for spouse to also drive the car.
