Car or shuttle btw. WDW & US + how long does it take?

Hey guys!

Sis wants to spend a day at US/IOA during our mainly WDW trip and reading the US boards has made me kind of sad that we only have one day to spare to do it. Because we're so tight on time, we'd like to get as much done as possible.

What would you recommend I do re: travel btw WDW and US? How long does it take with either service? I've heard the shuttle is cheap, but sketchy, but if the car is too steep we may have to bite the bullet and take the shuttle. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The Mears shuttle is $14 per person round trip. It takes longer than the town car because it will stop at other hotels to pick up other passengers.

I would recommand Town car service too. In the past we would use Mears, and not good things to say. One time, our hotel was the last stop, and so each stop before us, they would move some bags out of the back, to get peoples luggage to them. Well, they took out one of our bags, and left in on the ground, and pulled off. Of course we didn't know, because we were facing the other way!
