At the moment US Airways is coming up the lowest price for the flight only, and was wondering if anyone had any experience on them for international and national flights (because it entails a transfer at Philadephia) - especially travelling with a seven year old.

Also, I am certain that this would have been answered before, but we are thinking about hiring a car for a few days - we will only be staying a week at Disney before moving onto Fort Lauderdale for a cruise. What is the easiest (and cheapest) way to go about this - we are hoping to say at Pop Century or All Stars Music? I recall reading somewhere that children need to have car seats, is there a height as well as age limit? What type of car seat would be required for a very tall seven year old - she is currently six but easily in age 8-9 clothes for height?

We have looked at fly-drive holidays, but all assume you want to fly in and out of the same airport and we will not need the car for the time we are on the cruise. Basically, any recommendations will be very gratefully received because I want dd to have the opportunity to go to Disney but the costs seem to be escalating that we could end up just having to do the cruise - no option on cruise as FIL getting married on it.

The seven year old can be strapped in a regular seat belt. No car seat necessary for her.

I've never flown US Air on an International Flight, but I do fly them domestically to Orlando through Philadelphia. The airport is not that big and there should be no problem getting from the international terminal to the domestic terminal.

As far as renting a car (or car for hire), you can get one from the Dolphin hotel in WDW. The easiest way for you to get to the Dolphin would be to pick up a bus for the Dolphin at one of the parks of Downtown Disney or you can walk to it from EPCOT. You need to exit EPCOT at the International Gateway (just past the UK) and then follow the walkway to the Dolphin.

The agency at the Dolphin is National and Alamo and you can make a reservation online, which should get you a better rate then just walking up to the counter. I would suggest checking out www.mousesavers.com for codes to get you a better rate from the car rental compainies.

One other thing to consider is if you're driving to Ft. Lauderdale after WDW, you can fly home from either Ft. Lauderdale or Miami. I would think that you would get a better rate flying home from Miami rather Ft. Lauderdale and they're not too far away from each other.

If you need more info feel free to PM me.
