Car Care Center Rental Questions

We have a 3:00 reservation to pick up an SUV thru Alamo at the Car Care Center on a Saturday, and we aren't sure how it will work. Our intention is to go to the AK at park opening, then pick up the SUV during our afternoon break. We are planning on taking one of the shuttles to rent the Car Care Center. Will we need to return to our resort to be picked up, or will they send a shuttle to the park? Also, is there a possibility that the SUVs will be gone at that point in the day? If so, will they give us an upgrade? How far in advance should we call to reserve the Alamo shuttle to come and get us?

Alamo/National shuttle pickup works on a pretty direct schedule. You have to call the day before or morning of your rental to get on the scheduled pickup list. The agent will tell you time and place for shuttle pick up depending on your reservation time. The pickup is not on demand, its on a schedule.... I've never asked them to pick us up at a park. You will have to ask the agent.

We've never had any issue with them picking us up at one of the parks.

Will they pick up at Downtown Disney?

I have a reservation, but I was thinking that before our pickup, we would head to Downtown Disney. If they pick up from there, that would be great. If not, then we can make other plans. Maybe a taxi?

I called the Car Care center this afternoon to see how far in advance they wanted us to call and reserve a pick-up time. The clerk said that they will pick people up anywhere on WDW property. She said that it helps to call closer to 24 hours out so that they can fit you into their schedule.

Apparently yes- Others have reported doing just that (drop off at a park after returning vehicle to the CCC).

They told me they would drop me wherever I wanted. I had taken forgranted I had to go back to the resort. So, he dropped me off at Downtown Disney. Not where the buses go, but more like where maybe Planet Hollywood is.
