It's an ugly son-of-a-gun, isn't it? Given it's so close to an existing resort with a strong theme of its own, why would Disney/DVC not try to harmonize the new build with the oh-so-close existing resort? And if they intend to do a reverse "harmonization" and change the Fort Wilderness Resort to match the ugly newbie, that's a lot of money that DVC doesn't want to spend on a resort that's not theirs.
But they're settling for a mish-mash of design and themes in order to cut corners and share the costs and sweep all the OBVIOUS problems under the rug. Why spend a DOLLAR and have a great 360-degree view when you can spend a DIME, cut corners, and look the other way? It's a cut-rate, spruced up Dollar General design. That's the corporate attitude. It's humiliating, it is.
Good luck with that, DVC/Resort People.
