Car Care Center/National Question

Hello-
Going in September for 9 days & have used the Emerald Aisle at MCO, but this year thinking of using Magical Express & renting for only 1 week at Car Care Center.

My car rental reservation says to go to the Emerald Club Counter...which leads me to believe that it will be a different experience than the Emerald Aisle....can anyone tell me what to expect? Mostly...can I still pick the car I want, not one assigned to me? What can I expect for selections (if I can still choose the car)?

I would like to know the answer also. I'm most likely going to rent a car in May in order to drive to Tampa from WDW. And it's either rent from S/D or the Car Care Center.

I've only rented once at the Car Care Center, but from what I remembered there is not an Emerald Aisle there. I was assigned a car before I arrived. It was an intermediate (which I booked) and was new. I believe it was a Chrysler sedan. I'm sure I could have changed cars if I didn't want that one, but it was nice enough. I don't know how it works at the S/D, but it was painless at the CCC. The shuttle picked me up at the resort to go get the car and then dropped me off at one of the parks when I returned the car. Piece of cake.

Does anyone know the hours of the CCC or the phone #?
