Another question!!

Has anyone stayed at BC/YC and tried to go there a few times for breakfast without a reservation?
We are planning on trying to keep light food in the room for quick breakfasts before he park, but if the mood strikes we may want to have a sit down/casual breakfast (hello dark chocolate waffles? Is that you?!)
We likely won't know what we will feel like until the morning of though....will we have luck finding a table or will we be facing a wait? Likely we would be there around 830.

Thanks!

You will have no problems walking up to Captain's Grill that early in the morning. We have had breakfast there a couple of times, at around the same time you are looking at, and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant...we probably didn't need to make the ADRs but I did just to be safe. Captain's Grill is one of those "Hidden Gem" restaurants where it is quiet, great atmosphere, and has yummy food. We have never had a bad meal (only had breakfast so far there) there yet. Enjoy :goodvibes.

Great thank you so much!! I was thinking we should be safe without ADRs as it seemed like it wouldn't be too busy, but I wanted to confirm!
The menu looks delicious and very reasonably priced so I wasn't sure if it was one of those best kept secrets that DID fill up fast!

We've gone twice for breakfast without ADRs and have had no problem with getting in right away. I go for the lobster omelet, side of cheesy grits and Bloody Mary!

equally late morning is a dream also. We have been there a few times, first time with reservation then not bothered to be honest. Last year we went to early opening at EPCOT and then walked over at about 10.30am had brunch and went back into the park. Previously we have eaten there more or less at opening.

We have never had the individual options, always the buffet and whatever time the choice has been plentiful. The tomatoes stuffed with boursin cheese are amazing. Pastries, cupcakes, waffles, pancakes, usual cooked items plus a few different bits and pieces. We'll be back

I second both walking in without a reservation and having the buffet! I was at YC 03/08 - 03/12 and ate there twice. The first time was a walk-up without ADR at about 8:30am. The second time I made a 9:30am ADR the night before just in case.

The buffet items were yummy and as a bonus, they will make made-to-order eggs if you don't want the powdered, scrambled eggs (and it's included in the buffet price).
