Captain EO?

I found nothing inappropriate about them bringing Captain EO back????? Except the actual print of the movie seems to be in very bad quality. If we took everyone who ever worked on a WDW film,attraction etc...and brought in their personal life as a gage as to if their attraction should be at WDW etc..there would probably be nothing there but swamp.

I agree with you to a point. I know about Aerosmith and their drug use. And so many others that have made bad choices in their lives. But MJ's "personal life" included child molestation. That is about as bad as it gets. I get tired of the "it wasn't proven" argument. Not guilty is not the same as innocent. I think Disney made a bad choice bringing him back. And I pray for all his victims---and there were many.

We were at Epcot a few weeks ago (our 19th trip) and were very SAD seeing the HISTA was replaced by EO. We are MJ fans...and remember seeing EO several times back in the day, but the 3D effects are tolerable at best, the movie is really showing its age and my daughters 12 and 19 are less than impressed. Wish they would have just kept HISTA while they were doing whatever changes they planned. I even missed the Kodak preshow..lol

When you just sit and think of anything and everything they could do in that space, it makes your mind boggle. MJ? Horrid...old...out of date. This is Disney laziness at it's best. What a completely lost opportunity.

Maybe I'll play Captain EO the Video Game before my WDW trip this summer to set the mood before seeing it at EPCOT.

There was a video game? You sure you don't mean "Moonwalker" or "Michael Jackson: the Experience"?

Saw Captain EO for the first and thank god only time in November '10. I am not a huge MJ fan (so don't flame me), but this was awful!!!!!! If it wasn't for not wanting to be rude to the other guests I would have walked out on this one.....old, non-impressive special effects (I know they were when they were originally made) and the whole plot???????

Who was smoking what??????
