How is the Cape May dinner buffet? DH does not like very much seafood. He will eat shrimp and some beer batter fish, but that's about it. I wouldn't mind trying it this place (I do like seafood!), but only if DH has plenty of other stuff to choose from on the buffet. I looked at the menu and there does seem to be a fair amount of things he could eat, but can anyone else comment on the buffet and tell me if they thought DH would be satisfied with his dinner?

We found the seafood to be mediocre. The best part of the buffet are the ribs, and other fare. Desserts are very good too.

Thanks! I was also debating on the Yacht Club Galley instead... more choices for DH there. Does anyone think that would be a better idea?

I don't like seafood, and I had plenty of choices when we had dinner here. There were ribs, hand-carved beef, roasted chicken, lots of different kinds of salads and side dishes, and oh my, those desserts!

I dont eat seafood, and I love Cape May for Dinner. My dh loves seafood and he loves Cape May too :)

We are not into Buffets but do enjoy this one.

I am not a seafood eater but DH loves the littlenecks and shrimp so we go...there food is very good and there is plenty of non seafood items to eat

Not sure if you're on the DP or not; if so - how about Spoodles across the lake:thumbsup2

We are on the DDP and we have tried Spoodles last November. I loved it, but DH was wanting to try someplace that we hadn't been before. Otherwise, I'd be all over Spoodles again! ;)

Cape May has GREAT clams and Desert as far as seafood the Mussels and... were decent but not great compared to the rest.... There are choices and more none seafood I think it is a great place and you will enjoy... I would take spoodles over YCG Spoodles is very good as well but check out the menu first as it is not normally prepared items as in how they prepare thier food.
I would try Cape May first though.............

We ate there last week and thought it was fine. Seafood is just ok, but the carved meet, chicken and ribs were very tasty. They also had a braised meat with mushrooms that was good. I also like YCG because it is quieter. Either would be fine for someone who does not like seafood.

I didn't eat the seafood here. I just didn't think it was that good. I remember the beef with mushrooms being really good and the corn bread. Desserts were great too.
