Cape Canaveral and Miami

Hey all,

First of all, how far is Cape Canaveral from Disney? Or from Miami?
Secondly, what is the easiest way to visit the Space Center there? Rent a car? Are there tours offered from the Swan/ Dolphin or one of the DTD hotels? Or maybe even from the Disney resorts?

Next question: Miami: how far is that from Disney? Is there any way to get from orlando to Miami using public transportation (train or so?)

It's just under an hour to get to Kennedy from WDW. There are towncar companies that you can get a reservation with that will take you there. I would opt for a rental car though, especially if you're at the S/D. Alamo has a counter right in the Dolphin.
My dad lives in Pompano Beach and it takes him about three hours to get to WDW. It's about another 45 mins to Miami I believe.
