SO, I BOOKED OUR FIRST DVC VACATION FOR THIS OCT 16TH-24TH. JUST WONDERING WHO ELSE IS GOING,WHAT DATES, AND IF THAT IS ALL THEY CAN THINK ABOUT NOW?? JUST MAKING SURE I AM NORMAL....

I'm excited about our trip too! If I could just get us good deals on flights we'd be all set! Well there's also PS's to make in July and MNSSHP tix to get but otherwise we're ready to go!

I will be thrilled as soon as Airfares go DOWN.. Right now they are at about 200 round trip. They need to drop, so I can buy them and just stop worrying about the airfare.. Oct 23-30th.

THAT IS WHAT I AM WAITING ON TOO, THE AIRFARE... SOUTHWEST DOESN'T COME OUT WITH OCTOBER FLIGHTS UNTIL NEXT MONTH... DELTA(SONG) HAD SOME GOOD ONES BUT KINDA LEAVING BOSTON TOO LATE IN THE DAY FOR ME. I LIKE EARLY MORNING FLIGHT GOING DOWN AND LATE ONES COMING HOME. THE MORE DISNEY TIME, THE BETTER!

My 1st WDW experience will be in October 2004 (10-15). Its all I can think about. It will also be the first time for my kids (boy 6 and girl 1, wife has been before) I am more excited than the kid. We are staying on property(movies or sports).

We are going down on 10/30 with some friends and that is ALL we can talk about. I think I'm more excited for this trip than any other one we've taken. Plus it's a surprise for my kids so I can't really talk about it at home at all. The suspense is killing me!

We are going Oct. 27-Nov. 2 with two other couples. We are mainly going for the F&WF but I'm hoping we can go to MNSSHP too. All of our kids are grown (well, our DD will be a frosh in college) so this will be an adult only trip. Can't wait!!

I'll be there the 16th-24th too! I wish our airfares were $200. The nonstop flights for that week from here are around $400, and I need 4 of them!!!

We'll be there October 26 - November 2! It'll be our first time visiting in October and going to MNSSHP!

I am starting to get together a list of where we should eat so that way when the time comes I'll be ready to make my 90 PS which won't be until the end of July.

We'll be there in October, too. 10/9-10/16. Can't wait for the Halloween party! It will also be our first trip staying concierge. We just booked our airfare this weekend for our October trip. We are flying United from Chicago to Orlando round trip for $180.00 per adult and that includes taxes and fees. I was shocked and pleased.

WE ARE!! We're actually heading down on September 29th, but we'll be there through October 8th! We can't wait!!! DH & I have been before, but this is DD's (7) and DD's (4) first trip (and as of right now, it's still a surprise!) We can think of absolutely nothing else! I have "Mickey on the Brain" 24/7!!

I can't wait either.....soooooooo...were not! I couldn't stand the thought of waiting until our next scheduled trip in October so I booked a last minute weekend this weekend. Yes, I know it's Easter and it will be packed....but it is Disney! Wish me luck!

Hello Mickey friends,




I was very glad to see this post cuz I'm thinking about our trip too esp. being our very first.

We originally planned for 7 days but after the many readings and websites I was just so overwhelmed on HOW MUCH there is to do and see there. So we extended it to two weeks (Yeah!). So we can have more down days, and do the things that some of the other resorts have to offer. I'm hoping to revisit every park two (or maybe three times) each this way.

I've already been typing up our ititernary with all the rests. PS, etc.

Yes, I'm very excited and I can't wait to go either.

DH and I will be there too. October 23-October 30.

This "empty nest" has it's advantages. Although I miss the children traveling with us, we can go at different times of the year now. We really enjoyed February now we can go for Food and Wine.

Pretty soon if the children call and get the answering machine they will think we've gone to WDW again.

We're going down Oct. 29th! Taking the kids our of school for two days but have too! I mean, the last trip we took that time of the year was soo perfect! Weather perfect, light crowds. And this will be a total surpise to them when we pick them up from school! So can't talk about it much. Can't leave my half a dozen Disney Vacation guidebooks laying around the house, can't go over detail maps on the table. Can't even discuss the finer things in life with the misses at the dinner table like "are there otters in the otter pond at wilderness lodge?" What's a Disney nut to do? over 200 days to go! And I started planning last September!

Pop Century here we come Oct. 3-9 for our 1st Walt Disney World trip. I think I am more excited than my DS11 and DD 8. My husband thinks I'm crazy because I spend hours on these forums trying to learn everything I can. I eat sleep and breath Disney. Like I read in a previous post I don't to wish the summer away(I'm from Montana summer is precious to us out here.)
