I was going thru my e-mails and realized that I had received a pin number for a special rate. Keep in mind, we were just there end of October.
I called, and it was a great price for January-March. I picked a week, checked flights, and was able to find $200 per person, which is a pretty reasonable non-sale fare for that time of year for the NY area. We even have 4 days left on our tickets from our October trip, and BONUS, that starts a new year for vacation days, so I'm thinking I'm all set.
Then I tell DH...he thinks I'm nuts! Gives me the whole speech that we just got back, we need to buy a park pass for my son since he turned 3, we still have to buy food, it's still going to cost a few grand for the whole trip, our back sliding glass door is leaking, our windows need to be replaced, yadda yadda yadda. I hate practical people.
Making matters worse, I saw the special on the Food Network the other day about how they decorate etc. for the holidays...talk about salt in the wounds. Maybe I'll win the lottery before my pin code expires!
