She does not know who I am. I am truly more concerned about others being hurt.

I suffer from TBi and i have to say that in the years i have suffered with it and have tried to learn all i can that its amazing what small things can cause a TBI. Mine was from a school bus accident. BUt many many TBis are from slip and fall where somone fell back ward and hit their head and maybe dont even know anything happend but they could very well have just caused TBI. Its a scarry thing believe me it took me years before i would ride a bus again first a big city buss then finally back to school bus. years after leaving school though. I can imagine if someone fell and had the same problems i have that they would want to wear a helmet.
slip and falls can be as simple as a bruise or maybe even just a scratch or nothing at all other then a little pain from hitting the sidewalk or concrete to something horrible like a TBI. its good you did what you did and im thankful. Its not just one fall its 1 fall that started this but then if left untreated it can become more and more falls and more injurys. someone has to say something and you did

BTW, I've been there since and there is now a permanent warning sign mounted to the door of the stall. It seems that your concerns were addressed. As I said I can't speak for what's in the ladies room

That's wonderful news.

You absolutely did the right thing. You were trying to help people. That poor woman and her daughter. I know when my grandmother fell she was never the same again and my mother was seriously injured from a a fall as well. I had a friend who DIED from a fall when she was 8 years old. These incidents were not at Sea World. (I don't want to get people on the boards depressed, just to reinforce how serious a situation this is.)

And it is true that people don't complain and just write things off. I am glad you wrote your letter and perhaps they now at least have signs that the floors get slippery when wet.

And I'm disappointed in the name of research that DTop didn't find out if there was one in the ladies room.
