Canon A620 or A610??

I finally found a camera that my dgf can use to take ebay pics. The A620's software not only will allow PC control like I wanted, it has a live preview as well! So the question is, which is the better choice? They are only 10-15 dollars difference in price. The sample pics look about the same although I've read that some think the A610 takes better pics.

Any personal experiences with either of these cameras?

my daugher has the 620...for the price it has 2 mp more but that's the only difference i think. it think the rest is the same i think the pictures from the 620 are very good...i probably will down the road get one for husband's before work shots unless the s2 goes down even lower...then i might get that and use it when i have shakey hand problems

I have the 620 as a companion to my XT - love it. Crisp clear shots - I'm glad I went with it
