with bag and accessories for $899.95, free shipping.

I've looked at the 60d for a while, but lately have been looking at the t4i. Thinking about getting this....need your opinions.

Thanks,
Kim

I would take a pass on QVC "deals".
Adorama and B&H and Amazon sell camera products cheaper. For example, Adorama was selling the 60D for $540 (refurbished) which includes warranty, free shipping, etc.

That is $100 cheaper than B&H right now for the camera and that lens new. But my question would be what kind of customer service and warranty do you get there? QVC does have some good deals (if you pay cash and not their extortion... I mean payment plan) but QVC is also known to sell gray market products with no US warranty and no customer support. And that's not necessarily a bad thing, just know what you're buying and what that means.

I decided to wait on the 60d. I keep leaning toward the t4i (or t5i) with the 18-135 STM lens. Just watching for a good price in that area.

Thanks for your feedback!

Man, you just missed it!! Canon had a great refurb sale going on. I got a T4i with th 18-135 STM for $735.

I have never bought a refurb before, but it looks brand new out of the box, has that new camera smell, and I checked the actuations, 29!!!!! I could not be any happier with my purchase:woohoo:

refurbs are a good deal and often Adorama has refurbs cheaper than the Canon site

I kept my eye on Adorama and B&H. I would have had no problem ordering from them if they would have had what I wanted when I wanted it. They are both great companies and have used them before.

Best Buy also had the 60d / 18-135 kits for $899 a month or two ago. For the same price you can purchase from a brick and mortar and return it if you have any problems.

the 70d is coming soon, which will cause the 60d prices to drop even further.

The xxd series has a better build quality over the rebels, however the sensor is the same.
