We (probably along with a lot of other people ) are trying for Christmas Eve too! I hope we both get what we want!

It is a huge relief to get a date, though. No more getting up every morning!

We don't care a whole lot who our narrator will be, but it will be fun to find out. Maybe Edward James Olmos?

I think seeing it on Christmas Eve will be so cool, especially since we won't be at church as we traditionally are. Don't really care what restaurant I get as long as we get the package for that day! Am hoping to get Chefs though. Can't wait to hear who the narrator will be! Good luck on getting the package!!!

We went on Christmas Eve in '08 and the experience was wonderful!!! Very spiritual.

Wow, I am impressed - you have an alarm that you can set this far in advance? I guess it is on a smart phone.

I've set my alarm, too, and I just have a "dumb" phone. Most cell phones these days have a calendar function in which you can schedule an appointment. The phone then rings to remind you of the "appointment."

When I called today asking about the CP dinner package (for the umpteenth time!), the CM told me the date of Aug 26th but she could not tell me the prices or if there were any available discounts such as AP, DVC or TIW. Anyone have that info? TIA.

My DH is the techie in our house who keeps everything running. He lets me have the primary use of the PC while he uses his laptop. He has the iPhone while I have a Virgin Mobile pay by the minute cell, mainly for emergencies. It does have a cheap camera but no calendar function. DH is happy to indulge me in letting me do all the planning for vacations and as far as he is concerned the DISboards are my thing.

We went last year on Christmas Eve, it was amazing! We ate at Tutto and saw the last CP show. It was very moving and beautiful. Hope you get what you want!

I have never gotten a discount on the CP and I doubt they would offer any this year. They sometimes have discounts for MVMCP.

My wonderful DU agent emailed me today with the August 26th date to book CP packages... I hope, hope hope that I can or she can get us Le Cellier for the 12th!!!!!!!
It will absolutely make my whole trip wonderful!!!!!

I am happy to at least have a date, it was absolutely exhausting to be thinking it could be "tomorrow" every single day and feel like you have to get up and check!!!

While we weren't allowed to use TIW for our meal package, you can use it for any extras or liquor you buy with the package.

We are hoping for any time & any of the 3 shows at the CP - As long as it comes with a package for Le Cellier... I can't believe it is more than another 2 weeks before this will be settled!

I am happy we don't have to spend every day wondering when now - but it still leaves me with an untied end... We changed our vacation so we could be there to see Stevie Chapman on the 12th and it just feels unfinished without the Res... I am much less stressed than I would have been any other time here though because it is not just me against the "World" I have Beth at DU to help!!

We will also be there all 4 dates that Steven Curtis Chapman is narrating. I was so thrilled when we learned this. He was the narrator when we went the first week of Dec last year and I was so happy when checking his website to learn that he had changed his schedule at WDW this year to be the same as our change in schedule!

As far as when I want to book. I'm going with others and have 3 packages to book. Whoopi....Le Cellier....Steve Curtis Chapman....Germany....Marlee Matlin...Le Cellier. I'm more or less open to the actual dates/shows.

I was able to use my TIW card for wine at Chefs de France last year when we did the CP package there. Maybe this is another of those all too frequent "depends on the CM" issues.

We want Whoopi G on the 10th, our first night there.. will take any ressie at Germany, Morocco, Japan, Italy so we don't have to walk far for the show.. have dining plan but we are paying for this one and want a Tier 1-2 place so all of you want want Le Cellier won't have to worry about us taking one of 'em!

My b'day is the 11th and don't want to change that dining res in the MK.


We have an ADR at Biergarten at 6pm on the 10th already.. should I cancel it or see if the CM can change it to a candlight ressie?

We will be at WDW from 11/28-12/04 but the only nights we can do the CP are 12/01, 12/02 or 12/03. We already have ADR's for Tutto Italia-12/01, Kouzzina-12/02 and Bistro de Paris-12/03. I am hoping for the CP on Wednesday, 12/01 with the dinner portion at Tutto Italia but I'm not canceling any ADR's until I know for sure!!
