Candlelight Processional Children's appetizer

Did anyone that went to the candlelight processional with children receive an appetizer for your child? I am a little confused with our children not getting appetizers. We had dinner at Teppan Edo, so I was wondering if it was simply our experience or if this is across the board. The website states the following:

"Your meal includes an appetizer, entree, dessert and a non-alcoholic beverage."

There is not one thing mentioned or footnoted about children not getting the same meal. It is not a huge difference, but with the price that they are charging for the event, this kind of rubs me the wrong way.

Not quite the same thing, but we ate at tutto italia for our cp dinner. I have 2 ds who both got children's appetizers off of the kids meal. Children don't get adult appetizers unless they are a Disney adult. . I'm not sure if I answered your question tho

Children would get a child's meal, which would include a child's appetizer. That is normally a small dish of raw carrots/dip, or a bowl of soup. Did your children get those items, or were offered those items with their meal? They do not get the same choices as an adult.

(Came back to add - I don't specifically know what Teppan Edo does for appetizers for children or adults, since I have never eaten there. And it's possible it's different - isn't that the hibachi style cook-at-your-table place - so maybe they have different offerings.)

At Teppan Edo, there are no appetizers on the children's menu. I assumed that they would be offered an appetizer from the adult menu since there is nothing listed on their menu similar to the deluxe dining plan.
