Candlelight Processional ADR NOW ON LINE

I spoke with 2 different CMs personally in the last 15 minutes, and both said there was an error on the website regarding CP reservations and those may be cancelled.
I was assured by both after searching through their systems using various codes and keywords that NO CP ADRs are available for them to book yet. Supervisors have been advising them there is a heavy activity of requests, but nothing is available yet.
This advice follows past years--usually I get our ADRs in early July. I'm only reporting what was told to me, so don't shoot the messenger please:cool2:

Disney Dining Reservations - Check Availability for all restaurants - CP Package was showing up in the list of available locations....Not under each restaurant, but under its own heading. Hope that makes sense!

That makes perfect sense :thumbsup2 , it's how we booked ours :dance3:

While I don't doubt that's what they said, I'd be very surprised if they cancelled those reservations. I called today and was assured that the reservation was valid (not that I'm going to take the word of a reservations CM :lmao: ).

Oh no...I would be very upset...I made sure I wrote down confirmation number and took a screen shot!

Did any that got reservations have to pay up front? I think the last time I did it I had to pay for the entire meal at time of booking and it was a set price.

I have reservations at Coral Reef on the 17th with a regular reservation at 5:30 hoping that when the Christmas Processional comes available that I will be able to keep the time and just change the reservation to Candle Light Processional. The CM I talked to seemed to think this would work. Does anyone know if works or not????

As far as I know, you've never had to pay for the CP package at the time of booking. I haven't done it since 2007, but I definitely paid after the meal. And it's always a set price which varies depending on the restaurant (there are 3 pricing tiers) and whether you're doing it for lunch or dinner.

They don't change reservations from non-CP over to CP. That said, you can book a CP ADR if it's available and cancel your other one.

I did not have to pay up front. You pay the day of or use dining plan credits (2).

No, it doesn't.

I just got off the phone and was told that any ADRs being made in EPCOT at this time are regular dining only and are not CP packages. The CM said there is one release date for all media and online would not be at a different time than phone. I did go online to my Disney Experience and when I do a CP dining package search, it will bring me to EPCOT dining choices. However, there is nothing that indicates the ADR would be linked back to a CP package.
I'm going to stick with my tried and true time frame of early July; we've never been unable to get what we wanted in past years as there are so many good dining choices. :cool1:

As with many things we hear over the phone, this is simply not true. My reservation, as with many others who were able to book, clearly states that it is a Candlelight Processional Dinner Package. I'm sure the phone CM's have to say that they are regular dining packages to help ward off the multitude of phone calls they receive. I suppose it's one way to get the person who is calling about the packages off the phone.

For those who have booked a package...I can't imagine that Disney would cancel the packages that they allowed you to book (glitch or not). It does not make sense from a business point of view to do that. The time and cost of doing that would be difficult to justify to the shareholders (full disclosure, I'm a shareholder ;) lol).

I hope that those who were not able to book during the "CP Glitch of '14" get the dates and times they want, too :)
