You might check the message boards and chat on www.webmd.com too. I post on the Lupus board mostly but I know that most of the boards there are quite active and there are alot of very helpful members and the webmd staff is great too.

I was dx. Aug. '03 finished chemo April'04 and rad. in June '04 and I'm so sorry to hear about you joining the club. I had a rare breast cancer different from yours. Keep up the good attitude because it sure helps. I'm sorry I don't have a web site to give you I deleted it after the rad. (I just wanted to forget about that time for a while) but now realize it really is with you for the rest of your life and what I've gone through could help someone else.
Keep us all posted on how your are doing. And if you every need to just talk, yell or vent I'm just a pm away.

I don't know of any cancer message boards but I just wanted to wish you good luck. 9 years ago I was diagnosed with agressive colon cancer ( I lost my brother to this same cancer) and underwent surgery and 1 year of chemo. It's not easy but I'm still here and cancer free. Also my ds was diagnosed with bone cancer when he was three. It was very aggressive and he wasn't given much hope but we did surgery and chemo and he's now 20! I wish you strength and just wanted you to know that chemo is no picnic, but it does work! Good luck!

So happy to see you on the boards, I have wondered where you went, but after the DB closed some people just sort of dropped out of sight....we all went scattering about like roaches exposed to light (LOL)


I am so sorry to hear about your dx, but it sounds like you have an awesome outlook and are going to beat this!!!! I will definitely be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers for your next round against the beast (surgery, etc).

I don't have any links or any info to offer, sorry...but I am just thrilled to see you post! Please keep us updated, when you can. Many of us remember you (duh!!!) and care about you!
