Cancelling within 5 days

I was remiss with the new cancellation policy.

I have a two bedroom OKW book for a single night cash.

Has anyone sucessfully cancelled within the five day period.

I have also read where some people "modify" the reservation to a later date.

I believe if you cancel within 30 days of arrival, your points will go into "holding" and you can reschedule with some restrictions....
