Cancelling a CAA/AAA reservation?

I have paid my deposit but that is it- trip isn't till the end of April- anyone know off had what the penalty is?

I believe that the AAA policy is the same as Disney. Up to 45 days prior to cancel for a full refund. You should be fine.

Thanks- I think I am going to cancel and book directly through Disney - mainly for simplicity- and so that I can deal with our own reservation- I HATE when I want to know something or check and they tell me they can't becauce CAA owns our reservation-

You're going to have to check with CAA to be sure before you make this change.

I had to cancel a trip for the other party that was suppose to come with us. There was no fee before 45 days, and the deposit was returned. However, if you purchased trip cancellation insurance, they deduct that. So my Brother lost $60 from the deposit

I had not purchased the trip insurance through them so I am ok- I did cancel- and rebooked through Disney- I feel so much better now that I can call Disney and talk about my reservation- I am much too involved in this to be hearing "I'm sorry but you will have to go through your agent- I'm sorry but we can't give you that info- " Now it is mine- yeah- the difference in money was so little it wasn't worth the hassle-
