Cancellations

Please forgive me if this is posted on the incorrect board. We are set to leave in 18 days and I just got wonderful news that I was laid off today. Yippee! Contemplating canceling our package and aware of the $200 penalty but is that all? In canceling the package are the dining reservations also canceled because they are linked or will I need cancel those separately? Part of me thinks we should take it as a good break for the family but I look at the cost and think of how better that can be used. Ugh....

So sorry about the layoff.
I would definitely CALL Disney and fully explain your situation.

You never know what kind of accommodation they MIGHT be able to work with you.

I'm so sorry. As Robo said, call and see if they offer to do anything. I would double check on the dining reservations, even if they tell you they will cancel them for you. I wouldn't want to take any chance with the CC hold fees.

I hope you find an even better job.

I'm very sorry you were laid off.
Definitely call Disney, you never know what they may be able to work out.
