Are you flying or driving in? we are taking the train!
Coming early or staying later? We are considering arriving on Saturday, but may end up just taking the early train to NYC Sunday. We are also planning to stay in NYC at the end of the cruise for two nights.
Any plans in NYC before we get onboard? Not yet, it will depend on when we arrive

Are you flying or driving in? Driving, hoping to find someone to bring my truck home for me...then pick me up again - parking for an SUV has a 50.00 surcharge in NYC
Coming early or staying later? planning on being in Liberty Park at 5am to watch The Magic come past the Statue of Liberty - and B2B as well
Any plans in NYC before we get onboard? Avoiding as much traffic as I possibly can!

I just noticed that Disney has listed the post cruise adventures in NYC on their website (can't post the link until I make this post, catch 22) - getting excited to see more information come out on the cruise!!!

Happy New Year everyone (just a little late!!)

Just a little housekeeping for the Fish Extender list.

-I have updated the lists as of today, and have answered all PM’s and posts that I could find.

-Please check the link for this cruise and make sure I have your entire information correct, if not – PLEASE send me a PM with any corrections needed.

-I added the quantity of cabins under the heading of Cabin #

-I will make a post at the 75-day mark with the consensus of when to close the list. June 10th cruise – 75 days is Mar 27

-This will allow anyone who wants to join to do so

Are you flying or driving in? Driving, about 2 hours from NYC
Coming early or staying later? Most likely not to either. Unless we grab dinner with some friends when leaving but that wouldn't be till Sunday. Doing the 2 day Cruise.
Any plans in NYC before we get onboard? Nope just trying to get on board as quickly as possible.

We'll be traveling with our three children - 2 girls ages 22 and 18 and one boy age 8. I know there will be plenty for the 8 year old to do, but is there anything special that focuses on the college age kids?

Oh, and what is FE? I'm trying to figure this all out

My DD will be 23 by the time we cruise and is really excited to have people to hang out with. This is our 3rd DVC cruise and the first time she is not a teen on one of our cruises. It's been a while since our last cruise! She had a wonderful time on each cruise and is excited to enjoy the adult areas.

I received the email as well and excitedly went to view them, but they are not yet available. I don't know what that was about.

I think Disney has a mean streak...no excursions and where are the 2013 itineraries? dont they know Disney people plan years in advance?

Wow. It seems that most of you folks are coming from the East Coast. The last time I visited NY was when I was 14 years old....we spent a month on Long Island and only went into the city TWICE!!!! Oh, and I wasn't taken to any Broadway shows (I'm a big musical geek and would have LOVED it). I still give my parents a hard time over that one, lol. Since I haven't been up in that area since 1992, I'm going to do as much as possible because much of it is slightly forgotten over time.

Where is everyone coming from? Cedar Crest, New Mexico (less than 10 minutes outside of Albuquerque, on the green side of the Sandia mountains

Are you flying or driving in? I'm definitely NOT driving all the way from New Mexico!

Coming early or staying later? Both. Flying into the Washington D.C. area, spending 2 nights exploring D.C. Then taking the train up into NYC and spending 2 nights there before boarding The Magic (Saving the best for last )

Any plans in NYC before we get onboard? All the touristy things, of course. And I'm planning on catching a show (Hopefully Disney's Newsies, which should be showing on at least one of the nights I'm there....it's run ends on the 10th). Yes, I loved that movie as a kid, which coincidentally came out when I was 14, the summer that I visited NY. And now that they're doing a Broadway production, it just seems to fit perfectly. (Yeah, I'm kind of a nerd, lol)

I don't know if I'll get to see the play on Broadway, so I'm ordering the film Newsies from Netflix.
