There's a hot dog place about a half hour out of town where I live.
They have Dole soft serve.
But I've only seen pineapple flavour there once.
And no pineapple juice to make a float.
And you know...
Without the Disney ambiance...
It was good, but...
It just wasn't the same.

I found the recipe and made it at home once. Total waste of all the ingredients.

I'm back from visiting my parents. They have no internet (seniors have no wifi, as previously mentioned). I accomplished all that I had planned (got their A/C fixed, etc.) and had 24 hours of fun in Vegas before they knew that I landed. Woo hoo! And I got home just in time for an update.

Seems like a couple of us were visiting elders. I think DH and I have to go back this weekend to set up DM's new TV. She and I got it at Sam's Club last weekend. I'm technologically challenged so I couldn't do it. And she doesn't even have the beginning of a clue so it's got to be DH that does it. I swear, the only reason I got married was so I would have someone to do all the electronics for me.
Oh Ponzi! Tricking us again! You should be ashamed! How were we supposed to know you had an ADR for lunch at BOG? But it looked really good! I wanna try the grey stuff!
So for your next act??? I don't know, you've thrown me off too much.

I'm not a parade person either, but the MSEP always chokes me up. Brings back memories from our Disneyland days of my youth. Sigh.
Ok, my best stab in the dark, errr ummmm, I mean educated guess is: Pirates of the Caribbean and CHH for dinner. Fish and Chips, brownie for dessert....BUT you give said brownie to a sad lad who couldn't go on Aladdin for the 7th time, and.... You walked over to Aloha Isle for a Dole Whip, complete with pineapple juice.

Or you didn't.

And instead opted for a packaged Oatmeal Raisin cookie from the store next to Country Bear Jamboree.

Ok, definitely threw me off.

And as last time, I'm pretty sure this will be the meal you end up with if you don't go to Pecos Bill's.

You'll notice that the castle is quite a distance away.
Maybe... oh... one or two hundred yards?
And yet, through the magic of Disney,
if you just walk twenty feet down the bridge,
you'll find yourself inside!

Maybe it's just a reeeeeaaaaaaaalllly long wing of the castle.

Well, you enter through the mountain right? I always just thought it was the Beast's bat cave.

My meal? Easily the best quick service meal I've had in Disney!

The cupcake?
Wonderful.
Moist, not dry. Totally tasty. Chocolate cake.
Stuffed and topped with "grey stuff" (cookies & cream icing).

Mmmm... I could go for one of those right now!

(I didn't even know you could get a Master's in cupcakes!
Where do I sign up for that course???)

Well, I might've been a bit frustrated.
I was trying to make another FP+ and wasn't having much luck.
I couldn't recall if you could or could not make additional FP+'s with MDE.
And you can't.
But it wasn't for a lack of trying!

I really hope that they add this capability to the App sometime soon.

It looks pretty amazing. I know the few floats I saw were very good.

It's symbolic of how captive parents feel while waiting in line
to see Anna and Elsa.

I didn't stay to see what happened next.
Not because I was in a rush,
on the contrary, it was because I didn't have to!
I decided to stop, because I felt like it.
And I decided to move on... because I felt like it.

Sometimes being solo has its advantages.

Absolutely!!!! I could really have a great time just doing my own thing. Go where I want, when I want. If I get just a couple of hours to myself in a park it feels like a whole new sense of freedom.

I set out on my quest.
The game clues are really easy,
the fun is in finding the right spot and seeing what it does.
I enjoyed myself so I'd give it a thumbs up.

Was in Animal Kingdom this afternoon, and they have pineapple soft serve, but no juice to make a float. You can get it with a shot of spiced or coconut run, though. I stuck with plain. It's kind of hot here, and it really hit the spot.

Now, there are two other spots aside from Aloha Isle where you can find pineapple soft serve. Think I'm going to try one at one of these places? If so, which one?

Long day at MK and pool time. Everyone (including DW) was beat and in bed by nine.
"I'm just going to slip out for a bit.."
Zoom! Off to the bus stop. Quick, quick to MK.
Bore straight through the crowd and onto HM.

Back on the bus.
Back to the room.
