Can you use Canadian Quarters in the Pressed Penny machines?

Hi

Does anyone know if the Pressed Penny machines accept Canadian coins?

I would like to get a bunch of quarters for my kids to do the Pressed Pennies but I live in Ontario and the Canadian Banks do not carry US coins that I know of.

I'm not sure if they will work, but the laundry rooms at the resorts have change machines and they give quarters. I think they take $1, $5, and $20 bills.

No. You could ask your resort front desk to change a few dollars into quarters. But if you plan to do a lot of pressed pennies, or laundry, you might want a roll of quarters. Not sure if the front desk would exchange for a whole roll. There is a Sun Trust bank very close to the Hilton in the DTD hotel district. They have the usual bank hours.

I had a feeling the machines would not work with Canadian quarters but how about Canadian pennies? Was thinking it would be neat to try this. If it would work is there a year before or after that would work best?
