Can you upgrade ticket the same day?

We are going to Universal for one day in November. We were planning on doing IOA, so just were going to purchase a 1day/1 park ticket, but what I was wondering , depending on how quick the day goes if we wanted to go to US the same day ( say later in the afternoon) will they let us upgrade our ticket the same day? Dont want to buy a 2park/1 day ticket ahead of time if we are not going to use it.If so how much for the upgrade on the same day?

You can upgrade whenever you like. The price ends up being the same and Universal is always happy to take your money.

I think they may have been answered, but I want to make sure.

Our plan is to go to US/IoA for 2 days while we're in Orlando. We bought 2-day park-to-park tickets from Undercover Tourist. We are thinking now that we might be able to sneak in a 3rd day, not quite sure yet.

Are we able to upgrade these tickets and add a 3rd day? And if we can, do we just pay the difference for a 3 day ticket as opposed to a 2? Can we do this anytime, or do we need to do this before we first use the tickets?

You can do it anytime before the ticket expires. Don't go on the third day and try to get it renewed.

Well we cn get discounted tickets through Caa before we go, for $73, plus $18 for the shuttle from Disney, making it $91 for a one day/one park trip. I think it would be $30 to upgrade our ticket when we are there. Dreamsunlimited has the one day/2 park with transfers from Disney for $109, but I imagine they will be raising that now that Universal has raised their rates

Thanks Damo. That's what I had thought the answer would be, but I wasn't 100% sure. We'll upgrade the tickets the first day we go (if it looks like we can sneak in a 3rd day) to be on the safe side.
