Can you upgrade MYW tickets when you get there?

We are thinking of getting our MYW tickets with our airmiles but they do not offer the tickets we want. They offer Base tickets for 7 days for adults and 7 days for children and also the premium that does not expire. Of course we want 7 day hoppers. Does anyone know if you can upgrade once we get to the park and how much it would be?

Park hopper is now an OPTION for MYW tickets. I believe it is $35 USD per ticket. Most travel agents are not quite aware of the new system yet and still call them park hopper tickets even though they are no more. You can upgrade any ticket at WDW as long as their is one day left minimum. another option is the more magic option which allows you 5 visits to WDW waterparks, pleasure island and Disney quest. The cost $45 USD per ticket for this option.

I was thinking of doing the same thing. It's pretty clear that you should be able to upgrade when you get down there. You can see the cost to upgrade if you go to the "tickets" link at the top of the Disboards screen.

I think the only question is "where" in WDW you can do this. I think for sure that you will be able to do it at Guest Services at any of the parks or DTD. However, I am hoping that you can do it at the resorts or the TTC.

Just went through this info quest with Disney.... only available place to update tickets is at Guest Services at the Theme Parks. They will run your tickets through, and determine their value. I tried to get an idea of value and cost, but was told I had to go to guest Services. The method of calculating that they gave me was to take the amount I paid for the tickets, divide it by theme park days, and multiply by remaining days on the tickets. They would credit that amount to your new tickets. If they are new tickets, just subtract the cost of your tickets from the tickets you desire. Best answer I could get from them.
